Faces from the Masquerade is the third live album by American indie rock band Car Seat Headrest, released on December 8, 2023 by Matador Records. The album was recorded during the band's three-night concert residency at Brooklyn Steel in March 2022. [1] [2] The title comes from the fact that audience members were asked to wear masks at the shows due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and that the band's lead singer, Will Toledo, performed the concerts in a custom gas mask and hazmat suit. [3] [4] Stereogum noted that many of the songs on the album were "reimagined and rejiggered" from the studio versions. [5]

Nervous Young Man is the eighth solo album by American musician Will Toledo under the alias Car Seat Headrest. It was self-released on August 23, 2013 and is the final studio album to be independently released on Bandcamp as a solo project, as Toledo later signed to Matador Records and Car Seat Headrest became a band in 2015. It is the longest project Car Seat Headrest ever released and the only double album, clocking in at two hours and nine minutes, featuring "tracks written from ages 17 to 21" according to the Bandcamp page.
