It was self-released on August 23, 2013 and is the final studio album to be independently released on Bandcamp as a solo project, as Toledo later signed to Matador Records and Car Seat Headrest became a band in 2015. It is the longest project Car Seat Headrest ever released and the only double album, clocking in at two hours and nine minutes, featuring "tracks written from ages 17 to 21" according to the Bandcamp page.
