Farhat Mustafin (born 7 September 1950), [1] also spelled Farkhat [2] or Farkhad, [3] [4] is a Russian former wrestler of Volga Tatar descent who competed for the Soviet Union in the 1976 Summer Olympics [2] where he won a bronze medal in Greco-Roman wrestling as a bantamweight. [5]
He is the father of Russian artistic gymnast and Olympic Gold medalist Aliya Mustafina. [2]
Anders Oscar Ahlgren was a Swedish Greco-Roman wrestler. He was a world champion in 1913 and finished second in 1911 and 1922.
Yang Jung-Mo is a retired South Korean Olympic freestyle wrestler and the first Olympic champion from South Korea. He received a gold medal in the featherweight division of wrestling at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal.

He won a gold medal in the 2006 FILA Wrestling World Championships and 2013 FILA Wrestling World Championships and won medals at three other World Championships. He participated at the 2008 Summer Olympics and the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Roman Andreyevich Vlasov is a Russian Greco-Roman wrestler. He is a two-time Olympic Champion, a three-time World Champion, and a four-time European Champion. He also won the gold medal at the 2013 Summer Universiade. Furthermore, he was runner-up at the 2013 World Championships and the 2014 and 2015 World Cup. Vlasov trains under Viktor Kuznetsov, the same coach who raised Aleksandr Karelin.
Amiran Kardanov is a Russian and Greek Freestyle wrestler. He won a bronze medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics, and also competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics and 2004 Summer Olympics, coming in 4th place in the latter. Kardanov won four medals at the European Wrestling Championships.
Nikolay Fyodorovich Balboshin is a retired Soviet heavyweight Greco-Roman wrestler. He rarely lost a bout in the 1970s, winning five world titles, six European titles, and an Olympics gold medal in 1976. At the 1976 Olympics he pinned all his five opponents, in total spending less than 17 minutes on the mat. He was the Soviet flag bearer and a clear favorite at the Moscow Olympics, but injured an Achilles tendon in the second bout and withdrew from the tournament. He recovered by 1984, when he won his last Soviet title and was selected for the 1984 Games, but could not compete because of the 1984 Summer Olympics boycott by the Soviet Union. He retired from competitions to become a wrestling coach n Moscow. In 2006 he was inducted into the FILA International Wrestling Hall of Fame.
Valery Grigoryevich Rezantsev is a Russian Greco-Roman wrestler. He was an Olympic gold medalist in 1972 and in 1976, competing for the Soviet Union. He won gold medals at the 1970, 1971, 1973, 1974, and 1975 World Wrestling Championships.

Gogi Murmanovich Koguashvili is a Soviet and Russian former wrestler of Georgian descent who competed in the 1992 Summer Olympics, in the 1996 Summer Olympics, in the 2000 Summer Olympics, and in the 2004 Summer Olympics. He is the head coach of the Russian Greco-Roman wrestling national team.
Petros Galaktopoulos is a Greek former Olympic Greco-Roman wrestler. Born in Athens, Galaktopoulos competed in five olympic tournaments from 1964 till 1976. He won two olympic medals, in the 1968 and 1972 Summer Olympics. He was named the 1968 and 1972 Greek Athlete of the Year.
Charalambos "Babis" Cholidis was a Greek wrestler who competed, in the 1976 Summer Olympics, 1980 Summer Olympics, 1984 Summer Olympics and in the 1988 Summer Olympics. He was born in Guryev, Kazakh SSR and died in Athens. He was named the 1978, 1983, and 1988 Greek Male Athlete of the Year.
Aleksandr Nikolayevich Ivanov is a former wrestler who competed for the Soviet Union at the 1976 Summer Olympics, where he won a silver medal in the men's freestyle 52 kg.
Andrey Anatolyevich Shumilin was a Russian wrestler. He competed in the 1996 Summer Olympics and came fourth in the super-heavyweight freestyle event.
Magomed Kurbanovich Azizov is a Russian of Avar descent former wrestler who competed in the 1992 Summer Olympics and in the 1996 Summer Olympics.
Abdusalam Mamatkhanovich Gadisov is a Russian freestyle wrestler. He competed in the freestyle 96 kg event at the 2012 Summer Olympics; after defeating Taimuraz Tigiyev in the qualification round, he was eliminated by Reza Yazdani in the 1/8 finals.
Vasyl Dmyrovych Rachyba is an amateur Ukrainian Greco-Roman wrestler, who played for the men's light heavyweight category. He defeated Russia's Alan Khugayev for the gold medal in his respective division at the 2011 European Wrestling Championships in Dortmund, Germany. Rachyba is also a member of the wrestling team for CSKA Kyiv, and is coached and trained by Yury Tsikolenko.
