Farm to Market Road 471 (FM 471) is an FM highway in the San Antonio area of Texas. The highway is known as Culebra Road within Bexar County.
FM 471 begins at an intersection with I-35 in Natalia. The highway shortly begins an overlap with SH 132 and the two highways travel through the town together. FM 471 leaves the highway and travels to the town of LaCoste. The highway enters Castroville and has a short overlap with US 90. FM 471 serves the small community of Rio Medina before intersecting FM 1283 near Lake Medina. The highway turns after here and runs in a southeast (northbound)-northwest (southbound) direction, despite still being signed north-south. FM 471 enters the city of San Antonio near the Government Canyon State Natural Area. Near SeaWorld, FM 471 ends at an intersection Loop 1604 (Anderson Loop).
FM 471 was first designated on July 9, 1945 from Dilley to Divot. The highway was then extended further north 5.0 miles (8.0 km) toward Batesville on July 22, 1949. The route was cancelled the next month on August 25. The highway was combined with FM 117. [3]
FM 471 opened May 23, 1951, running from US 81 (now SH 132) in Natalia to US 90 in Castroville. On January 29, 1953, FM 1105 from US 90 north and east 24.4 miles (39.3 km) to a road intersection was cancelled and combined with FM 471. [4] The highway was extended further east to SH 16 later that year on October 28. The highway was extended further south to I-35 on May 6, 1964. On June 27, 1995, the entire route from Loop 1604 to SH 16 was designated Urban Road 471 (UR 471). [2] [5]
On December 18, 2014, the section of FM 471 between Loop 1604 and the Leon Valley city limits was turned back to the city of San Antonio and deleted from the state highway system; this was part of TxDOT's San Antonio turnback program, which gave 21.8 miles of roads to the city. [6] By 2018, the project acceptance letter was issued. As a result of the order and project acceptance letter, the section of FM 471 within Leon Valley became State Highway Spur 471. This eliminated UR 471. [7] [8]

Spur 471 is a state highway spur located in Leon Valley. The highway was designated on December 18, 2014 when FM 471 was decommissioned inside Loop 1604. The highway begins at the San Antonio–Leon Valley city limits and runs east for approximately a half mile to State Highway 16 (Bandera Road). Spur 471 is known locally as Grissom Road. An Earlier Spur 471 was designated on October 1, 1968, from I-20 in Colorado City to Loop 377. This was cancelled on June 21, 1990 and changed to Business State Highway 208-B. Loop 377 became Business Interstate 20-J that same day.

State Highway 46 is a 71.4-mile (114.9 km) state highway in the U.S. state of Texas that runs from SH 16 east of Bandera to the intersection of SH 123 and SH 123 Business just south of Seguin.
Loop 1604, also known as the Charles W. Anderson Loop, is an outer highway loop that encircles San Antonio, Texas, spanning approximately 95.6 miles (153.9 km). What began as a two-lane highway has been upgraded to a four-lane freeway along its northern stretches from US Hwy 90 on the West to Kitty Hawk Rd on the East. Loop 1604 is named for former Bexar County Judge Charles W. Anderson, who died from cancer in 1964 after serving for 25 years on the bench.
State Highway 151, also known as the Raymond E. Stotzer Jr. Freeway, is a 10.7-mile (17.2 km) state highway in the U.S. state of Texas that runs from Loop 1604 to U.S. Highway 90 (US 90) in San Antonio. SH 151 is a limited-access freeway for its entire length with the exception of its junction with Loop 1604 at its western terminus where a traffic light controls the junction. The routing of the freeway was first conceived in 1983 and construction was conducted in phases through the 1980s and 1990s until completion in 2004. The freeway provides access to the western part of San Antonio, the SeaWorld San Antonio theme park, Chase, Northwest Vista College, and the future site of a Microsoft data center.
State Highway 211 is a 11.184-mile (17.999 km) state highway west of the city of San Antonio in the U.S. state of Texas. This route was designated in 1986 as an access route to the Texas Research Park. Portions of the route were built, but significant landowner opposition kept the connecting section from being completed. The completed sections of the route consist of a southern section from U.S. Highway 90 north to Farm to Market Road 1957 and a northern section from FM 471 north to SH 16. The Texas Transportation Commission has approved a pass-through toll agreement that Bexar County submitted in October 2008. This proposal will allow for development of a segment of SH 211 from 1.33 miles south of FM 1957 to FM 471 and improvements to FM 1957 from Loop 1604 to the Medina County line. The completion of the section between FM 1957 to FM 471 will finally allow for seamless travel from Hwy 90 at the south end, north to SH 16. The improvements to FM 1957 will allow for the necessary widening of the two-lane roadway which is dealing with new suburban growth and traffic for which it wasn't built to handle.
Spur 117 is a 0.546-mile-long (879 m) spur route in the U.S. state of Texas that connects Interstate 410 (I-410) and Loop 13 in San Antonio in Bexar County. The road is maintained by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). The spur was designated in 1980 and follows W.W. White Road from I-410 on the southeast side of San Antonio towards the northwest ending at Loop 13.

Located in Medina and Bexar counties, the 15.983-mile-long (25.722 km) highway serves as an arterial street through the growing western suburbs of San Antonio. FM 1957 is known as Potranco Road within Bexar County, and is legislatively defined as Urban Road 1957 (UR 1957) east of Loop 1604.
