Fatema Nedham is a Paralympic athlete from Bahrain. [1] She is the first female Paralympic athlete to win a medal at the Summer Paralympics for Bahrain. [1] She represented the country at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and she won the gold medal in the women's shot put F53 event with a throw of 4.76 metres. [1] [2] She was also the flag bearer for her country during the opening ceremony of the 2016 Summer Paralympics.

She also represented Bahrain at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in the women's discus throw F32–34/51–53 event without winning a medal. She also competed at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in the women's discus throw F51/52/53 and women's javelin throw F33/34/52/53 events, also without winning a medal.

At the 2017 World Para Athletics Championships held in London, United Kingdom, she won the gold medal in the women's shot put F53. [3]

The 2013 IPC Athletics World Championships was the biggest track and field competition for athletes with a disability since the 2012 Summer Paralympics. It was held in Lyon, France, and lasted from 20 to 28 July. Around 1,100 athletes competed, from 94 different countries. The event was held in the Stade du Rhône located at the Parc de Parilly in Vénissieux, in Lyon Metropolis.

She represented Poland at the 2016 Summer Paralympics held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and she won the silver medal in the women's shot put F34 event. She also won the silver medal in this event at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan and the 2024 Summer Paralympics in Paris, France.

She won two medals at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
