Federica Falzon (born 17 February 2003) is a Maltese mezzo-soprano singer. She represented Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 on home soil with the song "Diamonds", and placed 4th. 
Federica Falzon was born on 17 February 2003 in a rural village named Safi, Malta (Maltese : Ħal Safi). She has been interested in music for most of her life, and has started singing at age 8. Her grandpa took her to karaoke clubs where most people encouraged her to take singing lessons. In 2011, Falzon sang in front of an audience for the first time at Festa Hiliet. There, she sang two songs - "Sailing" by The Sutherland Brothers, and "Rose Garden" by Lynn Anderson.
Federica started out as a country-pop singer, but discovered her passion for classical music through her vocal tutor and mentor Gillian Attard from Malta's La Voix Academy. Falzon has also taken part in Sanremo D.O.C. and won RAI UNO's Ti lascio una canzone 2014,  despite not knowing any Italian when she arrived in Italy.  In November 2013, Falzon won Ghanja Gmiel is-Seba Noti with an original song titled "Ilwien il-Holqien" (Nature's colours).
On 18 July, Falzon was one of the guest performers in the annual concert held on the Granaries Floriana by Maltese tenor and internationally acclaimed Joseph Calleja. 
On 15 November 2014, Federica represented Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 on home soil. According to lyricist Matt Muxu Mercieca, the song talks about how Federica finds her “way out of the storm” and how “together we can all shine, like diamonds in the sky.”  The song placed 4th with 116 points.

Malta participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Warrior" written by Elton Zarb and Matt Muxu Mercieca. The song was performed by Amber. The Maltese entry for the 2015 contest in Vienna, Austria was selected through the national final Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2015, organised by the Maltese broadcaster Public Broadcasting Services (PBS). The competition consisted of a semi-final round and a final, held on 21 and 22 November 2014, respectively, where "Warrior" performed by Amber eventually emerged as the winning entry after scoring the most points from a five-member jury and a public televote.
Sophia Patsalidou, known professionally as Sophia Patsalides, is a Greek-Cypriot singer. At 22 years old she holds a BA and master in music and performance. Her latest singles are developed with Sophie and the Giants producer Jo Pereira and co-written with Olivia Dean's songwriter, Glen Roberts. She recently opened American artist's LP concert in Limassol and is set to open Israeli star Hanan Ben Ari in February 2023. She left high school at 16 years old to pursue music at university level.
Liza Japaridze, known professionally as Lizi Pop, is a Georgian singer, actress, model, dancer and television presenter. She represented Georgia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Malta with the song "Happy Day" and co-hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Tbilisi with Helen Kalandadze.
Malta selected their Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 entry through an internal selection like they did the previous year. On 20 April 2014 it was revealed that Federica Falzon would represent Malta in the contest. It was announced on 12 September 2014 that her song would be called "Diamonds".

"Planet of the Children" is the debut single by Bulgarian child singer Krisia Todorova and pianists Hasan & Ibrahim. It represented Bulgaria at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014, placing second with 147 points.
Anita Simoncini is a Sammarinese singer who represented San Marino in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 as a member of the girl group The Peppermints with the song "Breaking My Heart". She also represented San Marino in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 along with Michele Perniola with the song "Chain of Lights".
Polina Sergeyevna Gagarina is a Russian singer and songwriter. She represented Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with "A Million Voices" where she finished second with 303 points. In doing so, she became the first second placed finisher to exceed 300 points. Gagarina also participated in the Chinese reality-competition Singer in 2019, where she was one of the finalists.
Veronica Rotin is a Maltese child singer. She has had some success at international singing competitions. In 2014 she released her debut album titled Veronica Rotin.
Destiny Chukunyere M.Q.R. is a Maltese singer. She won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015, where she represented Malta with the song "Not My Soul".
Sebastian Calleja is a Maltese singer. He started his singing career at the age of 11. Calleja is a resident singer, for the 5th year in a row, on 'Hadd Ghalik' which is aired on the national Maltese television channel TVM. He performs some acting in various local pageants or shows which gave him the spotlight in 2017 and 2018 playing one of the leading roles in the different Good Friday Pageant (film) organised by the inmates at Corradino Correctional Facility in Kordin, Malta, which had all the performances sold out. In 2016, he also was chosen to be part of the song and music video for the Maltese version of the World Youth Day Song 2016 - 'Henjin li jhennu'.
Malta participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 on 26 November 2017 in Tbilisi, Georgia. The Maltese entrant for the 2017 contest was selected through a national final, organised by the Maltese broadcaster Public Broadcasting Services (PBS) on 1 July 2017, while their song was selected internally. Each of the ten participants performed covers of non-Eurovision candidate songs during the national final. Gianluca Cilia was declared winner with his cover of Perdere l'amore.

The song is influenced by R&B and Hip-Hop music and is about individualism, empowerment and sexuality.
