Federico Vindver (born 18 August 1982) is an Argentine record producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and composer based in Los Angeles, California.
Vindver has produced along with Timbaland and worked with artists such as Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Coldplay, Yung Tory, Beto Cuevas, Tee Grizzley, Nathy Peluso, Meghan Trainor, Pablo Alborán, Brockhampton, Ludacris, The Blossom, New City and Wisin among others.
He has worked on records that have earned him Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards, and he was named Top 5 producer and writer by Billboard.
Vindver was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As a young man, he left the country during its financial crisis in 2002, visiting Spain and Mexico before receiving a full piano scholarship to the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami in Florida. While he studied jazz at college, he learned other musical genres elsewhere. He was playing in a practice room at UM when he was approached and asked if he would play in a local African-American church. There he learned about gospel, R&B and soul. He then became interested in technology and production.
"I was living in a practically destitute situation, because my parents couldn't help me financially and even though I had the full scholarship, I lived in a place where I didn't even have a bed," Vindver said. "At that time, an Argentine friend who lived in Miami gave me a computer that he didn't use, and there I downloaded cracked software to make music, and I started putting together the backing tracks for these gospel groups. As I did that, I started to like that a lot and I started to get more interested in producing, at first with the bands I played in." [1]
In 2008, while still in college, he briefly became keyboardist and show producer for Lauryn Hill. [2]
After graduation in 2008, Vindver met Ricky Martin’s musical director who connected him with Franco De Vita, and he worked with him as arranger and keyboardist. Then he co-wrote the song "Basta Ya" for Martin's Música + Alma + Sexo album, and toured to support it. [3] Vindver continued to tour, playing keyboards with Latin artists Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, then joined his wife to live in Los Angeles, California. At that time, he decided to focus full-time on production. In 2017, through manager/music executive Gary Marella, Vindver met Timbaland and both started working together. They made tracks for rock band Muse, pop vocalist Noah Cyrus, R&B singer Zayn.
In December 2018, Vindver and Timbaland were producing rap artist Saweetie [4] and Lil Mosey, [2] when Kanye West came to the studio. The next summer Vindver and West met again, and bonded over their mutual Christian faith. [5] His early experience playing gospel in Miami churches appealed to West, and they decided to work together on the latter's next album, Jesus Is King. [1]
In October 2019, Kanye West released Jesus is King, which featured 10 out of 11 songs produced by Vindver. Those 10 songs charted on the Billboard Hot 100. A month after the release of Jesus is King, four songs he co-wrote and produced appeared on the Coldplay album, Everyday Life. West's album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart in the United States, while the Coldplay album entered the UK Album Chart at No. 1. Of the songs Vindver wrote on Everyday Life, two were released as singles and charted: "Orphans" went to No. 1 on Billboard’s Rock Airplay chart, while "Everyday Life" hit No. 14 on the Billboard Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart. [6]
In the following years, Vindver wrote and produced for Pharrell Williams, Chance the Rapper, Armin Van Buuren, Tee Grizzley, [7] A$AP Ferg, [8] Brockhampton, [9] Missy Elliott, [2] Ant Clemons, [6] among others.
In 2020, Vindver released an online platform for producers called BeatClub, that permits them to sell their music online and network with other producers and artists. [10]
Vindver continued working with Timbaland, and that year the two producers joined Shucati, Rance, Angel Lόpez, and Sucuki, in working with Chance the Rapper on his track, "Found You", featuring Ludacris. [11]
In November 2020, Josh Groban’s album, Harmony, was produced by Bernie Herms, but Vindver produced an additional song for the project—"The Fullest (Feat. Kirk Franklin)." [12]
In 2021, Vindver co-wrote the single, "Higher Power" for Coldplay. The song was produced by Max Martin. [13] Also that year, he wrote and produced "We’re In This Together" for Justin Bieber's Freedom EP. [14] ‘
Throughout his career, Vindver maintained a foothold in the Latin community, producing and writing for artists Ricky Martin ("Basta Ya"), Pablo Alborán ("Hablemos de amor"), [15] C. Tangana ("Te Olvidaste feat. Omar Apollo"), [16] Lali ("Fascinada", [17] "Laligera"), [18] YEИDRY ("Ya"), [19] and many more.

Christopher Brian Bridges, known professionally as Ludacris, is an American rapper and actor. Born in Champaign, Illinois, Ludacris moved to Atlanta, Georgia, at age nine, where he first began rapping. Starting out with a brief stint as a DJ, he formed his own record label, Disturbing tha Peace in the late 1990s to independently release his debut studio album Incognegro (1999). The album was re-released by Def Jam Recordings as his major label debut, Back for the First Time (2000) after its single, "What's Your Fantasy", became a top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. The latter album peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 and spawned his second top 40 single, "Southern Hospitality".
Timothy Zachery Mosley, known professionally as Timbaland, is an American record producer, rapper, and singer. Born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia, he has received widespread acclaim for his innovative production work and distinctive "stuttering" rhythmic style. In 2007, Entertainment Weekly stated that "just about every current pop trend can be traced back to him—from sultry, urban-edged R&B songstresses [...] to the art of incorporating avant-garde sounds into No. 1 hits."
"Stand Up" is a song by Ludacris, released as the second single from his fourth album, Chicken-n-Beer on August 19, 2003. It became his first song to peak atop the Billboard Hot 100—remaining on the chart for 28 weeks—on the week dated December 6 of that year. It contains a guest appearance from American rapper Shawnna, who provides a call and response dichotomy with Ludacris for the song's chorus. Production was handled by then-unknown Roc-A-Fella Records producer Kanye West, while co-production was helmed by Ludacris himself, both of whom wrote the song.
"Talk About Our Love" is a song recorded by American singer Brandy for her fourth studio album Afrodisiac (2004). It was written by Kanye West, who also appears as a featured artist on it, and Harold Lilly, while production was handled by the former. Due to the song's use of a sample of Mandrill's 1978 song "Gilly Hines", band members Claude Cave II, and Carlos, Louis, and Ricardo Wilson are also credited as writers. Lyrically, "Talk About Our Love" is about a relationship lacking support from family and friends.
Tha Carter III is the sixth studio album by American rapper Lil Wayne, released on June 10, 2008, by Cash Money, Universal Motown and Young Money Entertainment. The album features appearances from Jay-Z, T-Pain, Fabolous, Robin Thicke, Busta Rhymes, Juelz Santana, Babyface, Bobby V, and Kanye West, among others. It also features Static Major, who is credited posthumously following his death in February of that year.
In a Perfect World... is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Keri Hilson. It was released on March 24, 2009, through Zone 4, Mosley Music Group and Interscope Records. Originally planned for a 2007 release, it was pushed back numerous times into 2008, amid her label's budget issues and minor single releases. The production on the album was handled primarily by Timbaland, Polow da Don and Danja, among others.

Jesus Is King is the ninth studio album by the American rapper Kanye West, released on October 25, 2019, and distributed through GOOD Music. The album follows a Christian theme, different from his usual work. West described it as "an expression of the gospel". It features guest appearances from Clipse, Ty Dolla Sign, Kenny G, Fred Hammond, Ant Clemons, and the Sunday Service Choir. Production is included from West, Federico Vindver, Angel Lopez, BoogzDaBeast, and Timbaland, among others.
"Water" is a song by American vocalist and record producer Kanye West from his ninth studio album, Jesus Is King (2019). The song features a guest appearance by American singer Ant Clemons and additional vocals from gospel group the Sunday Service Choir. It was produced by West and BoogzDaBeast, while co-produced by Angel Lopez, Federico Vindver and Timbaland. The song came from a conversation between Clemons and West about Jesus. A psychedelic and gospel track, the song includes samples of "Blow Job", performed by Bruce Haack. It also interpolates "We're All Water", performed by Yoko Ono. The imagery of the lyrics represents the renewal of Baptism and West prays to Jesus in his verse. On April 16, 2019, the song was recorded and it was announced for release that same month.
Anthony Clemons Jr. is an American singer, rapper and songwriter from Willingboro Township, New Jersey. He rose to prominence as a guest performer on Kanye West's 2018 single "All Mine", after which he contributed to West's Wyoming Sessions, as well as his subsequent album, Jesus Is King (2019). Clemons' debut studio album, Happy 2 Be Here (2020) was nominated for Best R&B Album at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards; with a total of four, his three other nominations yielded from his songwriting work on albums for Mary J. Blige and H.E.R. It was produced by West, Angel Lopez, Federico Vindver, and Timbaland, all of whom served as co-writers with Hammond and Aaron Butts. West initially freestyled and envisioned the song, recording an 18-second basic track. He sent Hammond a vocal track, to which the singer wrote his verse. A minimalist gospel ballad with elements of R&B, the song features a low-key beat.
"Use This Gospel" is a song by American rapper Kanye West from his ninth studio album, Jesus Is King (2019). The song features guest appearances from hip hop duo Clipse and jazz saxophonist Kenny G. It was produced by West, Angel Lopez, DrtWrk, Federico Vindver, and Timbaland, with co-production from BoogzDaBeast and Pi'erre Bourne. The song was recorded as a new version of the leaked track "Law of Attraction", which West came up with in a freestyle session. Clipse's feature on the song marked their reunion, after West requested for a collaboration. A gospel number with a maximalist style, it samples Two Door Cinema Club's "Costume Party" and includes a saxophone solo from Kenny G.
"On God" is a song by American rapper Kanye West from his ninth studio album, Jesus Is King (2019). The song's production was handled by West, BoogzDaBeast, and Michael "CameOne" Cerda, with co-production from Pi'erre Bourne and additional production from Federico Vindver. The producers served as co-writers alongside Cyhi the Prynce and Mustard. Cerda formed the song's melody in 2017, utilizing a Prophet Rev 2 and Moog Sub 37. Young Thug indicated an appearance, though he ultimately did not make the final cut. An electronic track with gospel and house elements, it relies on synths and features an interpolation of "Mercy" by West, Big Sean, Pusha T, and 2 Chainz.

On November 28, 2019, the song was released by West's record labels GOOD Music and Def Jam as the second single from the album. A religious hip hop song, it is based around a sample of "Martín Fierro", performed by Grupo Vocal Argentino.
