"Feel the Heat of the Night" is a song by German Eurodance group Masterboy, released in June 1994 by Polydor Records as the second single from their third album, Different Dreams (1994). The song's vocals are performed by Trixi Delgado, and the music is characterised as "rhythmic and swift", finding its inspiration from the Eurodance-style that was popular at the time. [1]

"Feel the Heat of the Night" achieved success in several countries, particularly in Austria, France, and Germany. On the Eurochart Hot 100, "Feel the Heat of the Night" reached number 22. Kai von Kotze directed the single's music video. In 2003 and 2006, the song was re-released in remix versions, but was much less successful. The artwork of the remixes used the same picture made by Günther Blum but with different colours.

Critical reception

James Hamilton from Music Week's RM Dance Update described the song as a "routine cheesy German galloper with usual ingredients". [2] Barbara Ellen from NME said, "Masterboy are German disco-peddlers who probably do a lot of praying and kow-towing in front of Snap! posters before they go into the studio." [3]

Music video

The accompanying music video for "Feel the Heat of the Night" was directed by Kai von Kotze. [4] It was A-listed on Germany's VIVA in August 1994. [5]

As the follow-up to "The Key the Secret", it was both written and produced by Rohan Heath, and peaked at number five on the UK Singles Chart, staying in the chart for nine consecutive weeks. The vocals were by Diane Charlemagne, who had provided the vocal for the band's previous hit and their subsequent singles. Its accompanying music video was directed by Lindy Heymann.

"Land of Dreaming" is a song recorded by German band Masterboy. It was the third single from their album, Generation of Love. The song was released in January 1996 and features female vocals performed by Trixi Delgado. Several remixes were produced for the various formats, two of them were mixed by Italian Eurodance act Cappella. The song was a big success in Latín American countries Like Chile and México, but in Europe was unable to duplicate the same performances than Masterboy's previous hit singles. It reached its highest peak position in Germany where it was number 12 and charted for 17 weeks. It was also a top-20 hit in Switzerland, Finland and the Netherlands. In France, the song was ranked for ten weeks in the French top-50 Singles Chart and reached number 22. On the Eurochart Hot 100, "Land of Dreaming" peaked at number 42. In 2006, it was re-recorded in a remixed version with Freedom Williams and Linda Rocco in featuring and this version is included on Masterboy's 2006 studio album, US-Album.

On the Eurochart Hot 100, the song reached number 51 in January 1994. Outside Europe, "Let This Feeling" was successful in Israel, peaking at number eight. The music video for the song was directed by Scottish director Matthew Glamorre. It features Simone dancing in a silver flashing kaleidoscope thing and flying on a pegasus sculpture. The sculpture was made by English sculptor, performance artist, jewellery-maker, and portraitist Andrew Logan.

The singer on the song is Linda Meek after that Samira Besic did not participate further in Maxx, after "Get-A-Way". "No More" peaked at number eight in the United Kingdom and also charted in Canada and Japan. Its music video was directed by Jonathan Bate and filmed in France.

On the Eurochart Hot 100, it peaked at number 15 in November 1995, ending up as number 57 on its year-end chart. Outside Europe, "Freedom" charted in Australia (93). The female singers are Natascha Wright and Lisa Noya. Alex Trime and Sven Delgado produced the song. Its music video was directed by Frank Paul Husmann-Labusga who had previously directed the videos for "Let the Dream Come True" and "There Is a Party". "Freedom" sold to Gold in Germany.

Produced by German Eurodance project Masterboy, it was released in 1996 by Club Zone as the first single from Ice MC's fourth album, Dreadatour (1996). The song was a moderate hit in Europe, entering the top 20 in Finland (19), and the top 30 in Austria (30), France (23) and Italy (23). On the Eurochart Hot 100, "Give Me the Light" peaked at number 51 in July 1996. Pan-European magazine Music & Media wrote, "With a crafty production and strong chorus, this US-born, Italy-residing artist once again proves that he is one of the prime exponents of the Euro-dance scene."

"Piece of My Heart" is a 1993 song by German Eurodance project Intermission. Written by Nosie Katzmann and Tony Dawson-Harrison from Captain Hollywood Project, it was released as the second single from the album by same name (1994). It features vocals by American singer Valerie Scott and uses the interpolated melody of the 1983 song "Send Me An Angel" by Australian band Real Life. The single was a major hit in Europe, peaking within the Top 10 in Austria, Germany and Spain. It spent 12 weeks on the German singles chart. Additionally, it reached number 40 in Switzerland and number 42 in Belgium. On the Eurochart Hot 100, it peaked at number 33 in January 1994. Outside Europe, it was a hit also in Israel, peaking at number 11 in September 1993. A music video was made to accompany the song. "Summer Summer" is a 1993 song by German Eurodance group Loft, released as their debut single. In 1994, it was included on their first album, Wake the World. Written by Nosie Katzmann and Attack II, it features vocals by singer Gina Mohammed. Becoming a major hit in Europe, the song peaked at number seven in Finland, number ten in Germany and number 15 in Denmark. Additionally, it was a Top 30 hit in Austria and a Top 40 hit in Switzerland. On the Eurochart Hot 100, it reached number 50 in September 1993. Outside Europe, it was a Top 30 hit also in Australia. A colorful music video was made to accompany it. In 2003, a new version of the song was released, titled "Summer Summer (Recall)".
