Two Medicine Store, formerly part of Two Medicine Chalets, is a historic building in Glacier National Park in the U.S. state of Montana. The chalet was originally built in 1914 by the Glacier Park Hotel Company, a subsidiary of the Great Northern Railway, as part of the railway's extensive program of visitor services development at Glacier. The chalet group originally featured a complex of log buildings, all built in the rustic style, which provided dining and lodging facilities. Overnight accommodations at the chalet ended with the onset of World War II, and the other buildings at the site were intentionally burned in 1956.
Claude and Starck was an architectural firm in Madison, Wisconsin, at the turn of the twentieth century. The firm was a partnership of Louis W. Claude (1868-1951) and Edward F. Starck (1868-1947). Established in 1896, the firm dissolved in 1928. The firm designed over 175 buildings in Madison.
280 Broadway – also known as the A.T. Stewart Dry Goods Store, the Marble Palace, and the Sun Building – is a historic building located between Chambers and Reade Streets in the Civic Center district of Manhattan, New York City. It was the first commercial building in the Italianate style in New York City, and is considered the site of one of the nation's first department stores. 280 Broadway was designed by John B. Snook of Joseph Trench & Company, with later additions by other architects. It was built for the A. T. Stewart Company, which opened New York's first department store in it. It later housed the original New York Sun newspaper (1833–1950) and is now the central offices for the New York City Department of Buildings.
The H.C. Pitney Variety Store Building is a commercial building in downtown Tampico, Illinois, United States, constructed in 1900. The building is part of a two-story commercial block along Main Street.
The J. C. Penney Historic District is a historic district in Kemmerer, Wyoming encompassing several properties associated with James Cash Penney (1875-1971). The district includes the Golden Rule Store, the first in what became the J. C. Penney department store chain, and Penney's home during the store's early years. The McCain Furniture Store Building is a historic commercial building located in downtown Columbia, Missouri. It was built about 1930 for the S. H. Kress & Co., and remodeled in 1951. It is a two-story, brick building with a simple stepped parapet. Though it has hosted a variety of businesses since the closing of the original store, today it holds Plasma Biological Services.
Brammer Grocery Store is a historic building located in the West End of Davenport, Iowa, United States. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The two-story, brick, Greek Revival style building is an example of a traditional local house form adapted to small-scale commercial use. It features a plain façade, a diamond-shaped light in the gable, and keystones over the second floor windows. John Brammer opened Brammer and Son, a grocery store, in this building in 1885. He joined with Louis Ott in 1895 and they added hardware and paint to their offerings. The store was renamed Brammer and Ott. The building has subsequently housed other business ventures over the years.

Prince Brothers General Store, also known as the Berry Store or simply Prince Store, is a historic general store located at Prince, Fayette County, West Virginia. It was built about 1900, and is a two-story frame commercial building. It is the last surviving building of the New River coal field commercial businesses dated to the turn of the 20th century. It is owned by the National Park Service as part of the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve.
The Baker-Devotie-Hollingsworth Block is an historic building located in the East Village of Des Moines, Iowa, United States. The eastern two-thirds of the block was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 as the Studio Building. The western one-third was added to the National Register in 2008, and its name was changed at that time. In 2019 the entire building was included as a contributing property in the East Des Moines Commercial Historic District.

Dwight T. Parker Public Library is a public library in Fennimore, Wisconsin. The building was constructed in 1923 to house the city's library, which had previously been based in a Methodist church and the Old Fennimore House. Dwight T. Parker, a local banker, funded the library. The architectural firm Claude & Starck designed the structure in a mixture of the Mediterranean Revival and neoclassical styles; the brick building features terra cotta ornamentation and a tile roof.
The Mulvey Mercantile is a two-story, red brick commercial building in Yukon, Oklahoma. It was constructed in 1904 as a dry goods store by the Mulvey brothers, and the firm was the largest retail store in the city until the Great Depression. It operated as a hardware store for many years, and is currently occupied by a home decor business.
The Building at 101 North Riverview Street is a historic commercial building located in Bellevue, Iowa, United States. It is one of over 217 limestone structures in Jackson County from the mid-19th century, of which 20 are commercial buildings. The two-floor structure was built around 1850 along the levee. Because the property slopes toward the Mississippi River, it appears to be a four-story building on the riverside. It was built to house a retail establishment, but its original use has not been determined. By 1885 it housed a dry goods store, and by 1894 it housed a hardware store and implement dealership, which was located here for decades. The rectangular plan structure is three bays wide, and it has a stone storefront. It was given a light coating of stucco and scored giving it an ashlar appearance. The second-floor windows have simple hoodmolds above them, while the rest of the windows have stone lintels. What differentiates this building from the others is that it is a freestanding commercial structure, capped with a hip roof. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.
The Kegler-Gonner Store and Post Office, also known simply as Gonner's Store, is a historic commercial building located in Springbrook, Iowa, United States. Christian Kegler had the western portion of this building constructed for his general store about 1874. The post office had relocated here two years previous with Kegler as the postmaster. Three additions were built on to the original structure. The building was in its final form by 1933. John Gonner acquired a part interest in the store in 1904, and operated it outright by 1908. It was still known as Gonner's Store at least into the mid-1980s. The space is now occupied by a restaurant. The second floor houses apartments. At one time the east half of the second floor had been a boarding house.
The Sprague, Brown, and Knowlton Store is a historic building located in Winterset, Iowa, United States. Built in 1866 to house a dry goods store, it is an early example of a vernacular limestone commercial building. The two-story structure is composed of locally quarried ashlar and rubble stone. It features chamfered quoins and jambs, and a bracketed stone cornice. Its construction has been attributed to local stonemason David Harris. The storefront has subsequently been altered. The building was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987, and it was included as a contributing property in the Winterset Courthouse Square Commercial Historic District in 2015.
The White, Munger and Company Store is a historic building located in Winterset, Iowa, United States. Built in 1861 by Evan V. Evans who owned the property the building sits on, it is an early example of a vernacular limestone commercial building. The two-story structure is composed of locally quarried ashlar and rubble stone. It features a false front that hides the gable roof, a parapet with a bracketed stone cornice and cornice return. The storefront has subsequently been altered. White, Munger and Company operated a woolen mill east of town, and this store was associated with the mill. The building was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987, and it was included as a contributing property in the Winterset Courthouse Square Commercial Historic District in 2015.
