Rimma Wilms is a retired German figure skater, who won the German Championship in the Junior Ladies B category in 2000. She placed fourth at the Heiko Fischer Cup among Junior Ladies in 1998, and retired from competition in 2001 after a 23rd place finish at the German Figure Skating Championships. In 2010, Rimma co-founded a non-profit charitable organization, Esperance For All, in New York and organized an event at The Westchester Mall. At the event, hearing-impaired and deaf children met with an American Sign Language-speaking Santa Claus.

She is a ten-time Turkish medalist.She represented Turkey at the Netherlands 2004 World Junior Figure Skating Championships and placed 46th, at the Germany 2004 Pokal der Blauen Schwerter Chemnitz ISU Junior Grand Prix in Germany and placed 37th place, at the 7th European Youth Olympic Festival were only held in junior single skating categories in Monthey, Switzerland, between January 22 and January 29 Youth Olympic Winter games and placed 22nd place, at the 2006 World Junior Figure Skating Championships in Ljubliana and placed 25th place.
Kate Slattery Parghi is a former ice dancer who competed internationally for the United States. She competed with Chuen-Gun Lee, a 2002 Olympic skater from South Korea. The two skated together from 2003 to 2007 placing 7th at the 2005 National Figure Skating Championships, 7th at 2004 Bofrost Cup on Ice, and 7th at the 2006 Nebelhorn Trophy. They were coached by Gennady Karponosov, Natalia Linichuk, and Vitaly Popkov. The youngest of five children, Kate also played women's ice hockey for her high school team, as well as being a competitor in ladies singles. They announced their split in March 2007. In fall 2012, Kate married American Business man, Doc Parghi.
The 2018 Skate America was the first event of six in the 2018–19 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a senior-level international invitational competition series. It was held at Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett, Washington on October 19–21. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. Skaters earned points toward qualifying for the 2018–19 Grand Prix Final.
Else Flebbe was a German figure skater who competed in both singles and pair skating. She was the German pair national champion in 1924 with Rudolf Eilers. She later represented Germany in the women's singles event at the 1928 Winter Olympics. At her last international competition, the 1931 European Championships, she placed eighth.
