Fiona Pennie (born 9 November 1982) is a British slalom canoeist who has competed internationally since 1997. She lives in Waltham Abbey in Essex. [1]
Pennie won a bronze medal at the Junior World Championships in 2000 and won the overall Junior World Cup Series in the same year. As an Under 23 athlete, she won a team bronze medal in 2004 and an individual bronze medal in 2005, both at the European Under 23 Championships. She competed in the K1 event at the 2008 and 2016 Olympics and placed 17th and 6th, respectively. [2]
She won seven medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with two golds (K1 team: 2019, 2021), three silvers (K1: 2006, [3] 2014; K1 team: 2015) and two bronzes (K1 team: 2007, 2018). She became European Champion in the K1 (solo kayak class) event in 2013. She won a total of 8 medals (3 golds, 1 silver and 4 bronzes) at the European Championships. [4]

Ben Fouhy is a New Zealand flatwater and marathon canoeist who has been competing since the early 2000s. Competing in three Summer Olympics, he won the silver in the K-1 1000 m event at Athens in 2004, as well as finishing fourth in the 2008 Olympics and ninth in the 2012 Olympics in the same event. He is the recipient of the 2003 Halberg Award for NZ Sportsman of the Year and a former world record holder in the K1 1000m event.
Josefa Idem married Guerrini is an Italian canoe sprinter turned politician. Competing in eight Summer Olympics, she has five medals. Winning 35 international medals during her career, Idem was the first Italian woman to win World Championships and Olympic medals in canoe sprint. At the 2009 world championships, she became the oldest medalist in the history of the world championships.
Štěpánka Hilgertová is a former Czechoslovak-Czech slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 1988 to 2017. Competing in six Summer Olympics, she won two gold medals in the K1 event, earning them in 1996 and 2000.
Marek Jiras is a Czech slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 1992 to 2009.
Thomas Schmidt is a German slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 1994 to 2004.

Fabien Lefèvre is a French slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 1998. As a permanent resident of the United States, he has competed for his country of residence since 2013. He represented France until 2011. He won two medals at the Summer Olympics in the K1 event with a silver in 2008 and a bronze in 2004. He has a son called Noe Lefèvre.
Mandy Planert is a retired German slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 1992 to 2008.
Danuta Kozák is a Hungarian sprint canoeist. She has won one silver, one bronze and six Olympic gold medals, three of which in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, making her the only female to win K1, K2 and K4 at the same Olympics. At the 2020 Summer Olympics, she won a gold medal in Women's K-4 500 metres, and bronze medal in Women's K-2 500 metres.
