First Baptist Church is a Baptist church at E. Oliver and N. Swenson in Stamford, Texas. It is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. Built in 1908, the church is a large, domed structure built on a Greek Cross form and covered with buff-colored brick. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 24, 1986, and designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1989. A two-story educational building was added in 1932 and another educational wing in 1960.
The First Baptist Church was organized in Stamford in early 1900. Frank Shelby Groner became pastor in 1905. He increased the membership from 147 to about 750 and that made a new and larger church necessary. [2] After using temporary facilities for seven years, the congregation had grown and prospered enough to initiate a new structure. Ten leading members of the church each pledged $1,000 for construction, and the new church stood as one of the city's most elaborate and expensive structures.

The H. P. Luckett House is a Queen Anne style house located in Bastrop, Texas. The 14-room house was built around 1892 for Dr. H.P. Luckett, a prominent citizen who had practiced medicine in the town for almost 50 years. The structure was listed in the National Register of Historic Places on December 22, 1978, and designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 2011.
First Presbyterian Church of Dallas is a historic congregation at 1835 Young Street in the Farmers Market District of downtown Dallas, Texas (USA). The current building is a contributing property in the Harwood Street Historic District and a Dallas Landmark. The congregation was founded in 1856 as the first U.S. (Southern) Presbyterian Church organized in Dallas, and is the mother church from which many other Presbyterian churches in the area have stemmed.
Mount Vernon African Methodist Episcopal Church is a historic church at 913 East Calhoun Street in Palestine, Texas. It is the third oldest AME church in Texas. The church was organized by freedmen in the early 1870s. The congregation originally worshiped at a church that it shared with Missionary Baptist Church. In 1878 the church bought 2.2 acres at its present location and constructed a wood-frame structure in 1885. In 1921 the structure was razed and a new church designed in a Gothic vernacular style was built. The church's two front bell towers are typical of the AME faith-based churches of the 1920s. Mount Vernon was the first church to introduce Palestine to integrated low-income apartment housing. In 1968 a 100-unit apartment housing project was erected at 2020 Sterne Avenue. In 1986 the church was designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark.
Immaculate Conception Cathedral is a historic church at 1218 East Jefferson Street in Brownsville, Texas, United States. It is the cathedral church for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brownsville. It was built in 1856 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 as Immaculate Conception Church.

The Tyrrell Historical Library is a public library in Beaumont, Texas. Originally built in 1903 to serve as the First Baptist Church, the building displays a mix of Richardsonian Romanesque and Victorian Gothic architectures, with pointed arch windows and quatrefoils, and all of its original stained glass. The building became vacant in 1923 when the congregation moved to a new location. It was bought by Captain W. C. Tyrrell, who donated the building to the city for use as its first public library. The building is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and also as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark. It is also a contributing property to the Downtown Historic District.

St. Mary of the Assumption Church is a historic church on 501 W. Magnolia Avenue in Fort Worth, Texas. The structure was designed by the firm Sanguinet, Staats and Hedrick. The first mass was held on July 20, 1924. The church was added to the National Register on May 10, 1984.
Saint James Second Street Baptist Church is a historic church at 210 Harding Street in Fort Worth, Texas. The congregation was founded in 1895 by the Reverend J. Francis Robinson. Construction of the church began in 1913, by architect Frank J. Singleton. African-American contractor George Powell built the south wing, while B.G. Rhodes built the north wing. Short square entry towers frame the Gothic Revival style red-brick building, and the lancet-shaped art glass windows give it a fortress-like appearance.

The First Baptist Church, also known as the Bell Towers, is a historic church complex built in 1931 in Bakersfield, California. The church moved to a new campus in 1977 and the building presently used as an office building. The structure was placed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) on January 2, 1979.
The Llano County Courthouse and Jail were erected separately, but added to the National Register of Historic Places in Texas on December 2, 1977 as one entry. The courthouse, located in the middle of Llano's historic square, was built in 1893. The exterior is made of sandstone, marble, and granite. The interior of the courthouse was damaged by fire in 1932 and again in 1951. It is still in use today by local government. The jail was erected in 1895, with the prisoner cells on the second and third floors, and the ground level solely for the office and living accommodations for the sheriff and his family. The jail was designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark 1979, Marker 9448. The courthouse was designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark 1980, Marker number 9446.

The George Washington Baines House is located in the city of Salado, county of Bell, in the U.S. state of Texas. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places listings in Bell County, Texas in 1983, and designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1981.
The Administration Building, Decatur Baptist College, at 1602 S. Trinity St. in Decatur, Texas, and overlooking the town, was built in 1893. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. The building was destroyed in a fire in 2023.
The New Light Missionary Baptist Church was a historic church at 522 Arkansas Street in Helena, Arkansas. It was a two-story wood-frame brick and masonry structure, built in 1917 for an African-American congregation organized in 1894. Its Gothic Revival design bore some resemblance to Helena's Centennial Baptist Church, but this building's architect is not known. Its main facade had a single tall gable, with a three-story tower at the southwest corner. A pair of entrances on the first level were topped by three lancet-style windows in the gable, the center one larger than those flanking it. The interior was simply decorated.
First Baptist Church was a historic African-American Baptist church located in the Gainsboro neighborhood of Roanoke, Virginia. It was built in 1898–1900, and was a large six-bay nave-plan brick church with Romanesque and Gothic detailing. It featured a clipped gable roof and a front bell tower. A one-story Parish Hall was built in 1936. First Baptist Church occupied the building until moving to a new sanctuary in 1982. The church was destroyed by fire in April 1995.
