Five Hundred Pounds is an album by Canadian rock band Big Sugar, released in 1993 on Hypnotic Records. In 1995, the album was released in the United States as 500 Pounds, with an alternate album cover and an alternate track listing.
Based on Big Sugar's burgeoning reputation as a live band, the album sold 10,000 copies solely by word of mouth before it garnered any significant radio airplay. The album was certified Gold in Canada in 1999. [2]
Jack White is a fan of Five Hundred Pounds, having bought the album at a Big Sugar concert in Detroit in 1993. He has stated that the album is "the best blues-based record to ever come out of Canada." [3] White performed "Ride Like Hell" live during his concert in Toronto in 2022.

"Cross Road Blues" is a song written by the American blues artist Robert Johnson. He performed it as a solo piece with his vocal and acoustic slide guitar in the Delta blues-style. The song has become part of the Robert Johnson mythology as referring to the place where he supposedly sold his soul to the Devil in exchange for his musical talent. This is based largely on folklore of the American South that identifies a crossroads as the site where such pacts are made, although the lyrics do not contain any references to Satan or a Faustian bargain.

It contains the complete concert recorded on November 15, 1971, at Austin Memorial Auditorium in Austin, Texas. This concert was the 16th concert after Keith Godchaux joined the Grateful Dead on piano. Ron "Pigpen" McKernan did not perform at this or any of the October and November, 1971 concerts due to poor health.

True to the Blues: The Johnny Winter Story is a compilation album by blues rock guitarist and singer Johnny Winter. Comprising four CDs, and packaged as a box set, it contains songs selected from numerous albums – some recorded in the studio and some live – released over a 43-year period, from 1968 to 2011, as well as several previously unreleased tracks. The box set also includes a 50-page booklet of essays and photos. It was released by Legacy Recordings on February 25, 2014.

It contains the complete concert recorded on November 17, 1971, at the Albuquerque Civic Auditorium in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It also contains bonus tracks recorded on December 14, 1971, at Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It was produced as a limited edition of 18,000 copies, and was released on April 27, 2018.
Giants Stadium 1987, 1989, 1991 is a live album by the rock band the Grateful Dead. It contains five complete concerts on 14 CDs. The shows were recorded at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on July 12, 1987, July 9 and 10, 1989, and June 16 and 17, 1991. The album also includes a video of the June 17, 1991 performance, on two DVDs or one Blu-ray disc. It was released on September 27, 2019, in a limited edition of 10,000 numbered copies.
