Florida's 13th Senate district elects one member of the Florida Senate. The district consists of all of Lake County and part of southwestern Orange County, in the U.S. state of Florida. The current senator is Republican Keith Truenow.
From 1869 to 1871 and again from 1877 to 1881, the district was represented by Josiah T. Walls, one of the first African Americans in the United States Congress.
The district contains popular Orlando attractions like Universal Studios Florida, SeaWorld Orlando, Fun Spot Action Park, and most of Walt Disney World.
