State Road 207 (SR 207) is a four-lane state highway in northeast Florida, extending from US 17 in East Palatka, Florida at the southwest end to US 1 in St. Augustine, Florida at the northeastern end.
State Road 207 begins at US 17 in East Palatka, and heads northeast through Putnam County, going through the community of Orange Mills. SR 207 then enters St. Johns County, passing through Hastings before intersecting SR 206 in Spuds. SR 207 continues northeast, passing through the communities of Armstrong, Elkton, and Vermont Heights before encountering an interchange with Interstate 95. From there, the road spends the rest of its journey approaching St. Augustine, slowly heading into the heart of the city, intersecting SR 312 before terminating at US 1.
SR 207 mainly goes through farming area. The Seminole Electric power plant, and the Georgia Pacific paper mill in Putnam County along the St. Johns River can be seen from the road.
Much of the road includes crossings and trailheads for the Palatka-to-St. Augustine State Trail, including a trailhead on a former segment of the road in Elkton. [2]

Putnam County is a county located in the northern part of the state of Florida. As of the 2020 census, the population was 73,321. Its county seat is Palatka.
Palatka is a city in and the county seat of Putnam County, Florida, United States. Palatka is the principal city of the Palatka Micropolitan Statistical Area, which is home to 72,893 residents. The Palatka micropolitan area is included in the Jacksonville—Kingsland–Palatka, FL-GA Combined Statistical Area.
U.S. Route 33 (US 33) is a United States Numbered Highway that runs northwest–southeast for 709 miles (1,141 km) from northern Indiana to Richmond, Virginia, passing through Ohio and West Virginia en route. Although most odd-numbered U.S. routes are north–south, US 33 is labeled east–west throughout its route, except in Indiana where it is labeled north–south. It roughly follows a historic trail used by Native Americans from Chesapeake Bay to Lake Michigan.
State Road 50 runs across the center of the U.S. state of Florida through Orlando, with its termini at SR 55 at Weeki Wachee and SR 5 in Titusville.
Maryland Route 213 (MD 213) is a 68.25-mile (109.84 km) state highway located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in the United States. The route runs from MD 662 in Wye Mills, Queen Anne's County, north to the Pennsylvania border in Cecil County, where the road continues into that state as Pennsylvania Route 841 (PA 841). The route, which is a two-lane undivided highway most of its length, passes through mainly rural areas as well as the towns of Centreville, Chestertown, Galena, Cecilton, Chesapeake City, and Elkton. MD 213 intersects many routes including U.S. Route 50 (US 50) near Wye Mills, US 301 near Centreville, and US 40 in Elkton. It crosses over the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal in Chesapeake City on the Chesapeake City Bridge. MD 213 is designated by the state as the Chesapeake Country Scenic Byway between the southern terminus and Chesapeake City with the portion north of MD 18 in Centreville a National Scenic Byway. In addition, the route is also considered part of the Atlantic to Appalachians Scenic Byway between Chesapeake City and MD 273 in Fair Hill.
State Road 16 (SR 16) runs from northwest to southeast between Raiford and St. Augustine. It passes through the towns of Starke and Green Cove Springs in addition to providing access to Camp Blanding. Major roads and/or highways that SR 16 crosses include: US 301, SR 21, US 17, SR 13, Interstate 95 and US 1.
State Road 100 is a 153-mile-long (246 km) east–west highway serving northeast Florida. Its western terminus is at the Georgia-Florida border four miles (6.4 km) north of Avoca, Florida ; its eastern terminus is an intersection with Shore Scenic Highway in Flagler Beach. The portion west of Lake City is only signed as portions of US 41 and US 129, both of which run north–south.

Spuds is an unincorporated community in St. Johns County, Florida, United States. The community is situated in a region that depends economically on potato growing and other agriculture. As well as potatoes, the land around Spuds provides gladioli. A camp for German prisoners of war was built in Spuds during World War II, close to the intersection between State Roads 206 and 207.
Vermont Heights is an unincorporated community in St. Johns County, Florida, United States. It is located on State Road 207, west of I-95.
State Road 26 is a 62.172-mile-long (100.056 km) east–west route across North Central Florida.
U.S. Highway 1 (US 1) in Florida runs 545 miles (877 km) along the state's east coast from Key West to its crossing of the St. Marys River into Georgia north of Boulogne and south of Folkston. US 1 was designated through Florida when the U.S. Numbered Highway System was established in 1926. With the exception of Monroe County, the highway runs through the easternmost tier of counties in the state, connecting numerous towns and cities along its route, including nine county seats. The road is maintained by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).
U.S. Route 33 is a part of the U.S. Highway System that runs from Elkhart, Indiana to Richmond, Virginia. In Virginia, the U.S. Highway runs 135.60 miles (218.23 km) from the West Virginia state line near Rawley Springs east to its eastern terminus at SR 33 in Richmond. US 33 is the primary east–west highway of Rockingham County, which lies in the Shenandoah Valley. The highway connects the independent city of Harrisonburg, the town of Elkton, and an entrance to Shenandoah National Park. East of the Blue Ridge Mountains, US 33 connects the Piedmont communities of Stanardsville, Gordonsville, and Louisa. The U.S. Highway is a major suburban and urban route in the Richmond metropolitan area. Within Richmond, US 33 runs concurrently with US 250. SR 33 continues from US 33's eastern terminus as a state-numbered extension of the U.S. Highway that connects Richmond with Virginia's Middle Peninsula.
State Road 19 is a Florida State Road in Putnam, Marion, and Lake counties. It runs from Groveland to Palatka through Ocala National Forest. Along with SR 33, SR 19 provides a mostly rural north-south corridor through central Florida from Lakeland to Palatka.
U.S. Highway 17 (US 17) in Florida is a north–south United States Numbered Highway that runs 317 miles (510 km) from the Punta Gorda, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area northeast to the Jacksonville metropolitan area.
State Road 121 is a major state highway that runs north and south in northern Florida. The road is part of a long multi-state route that also goes through Georgia and South Carolina.
The Palatka-Lake Butler State Trail (PLB) corridor stretches nearly 47 miles (76 km) from the vicinity of Lake Butler, Florida to Palatka, Florida. The project is located along the former Georgia Southern and Florida Railway right-of-way and the trail is being constructed on top of the existing abandoned railroad bed through Putnam, Clay, Bradford, and Union counties.
State Road 71 is a highway in western Florida that runs 95.4 miles (153.5 km) from the Gulf Coast and the Gulf of Mexico, through the panhandle of Florida to the Alabama border.
