On Through the Night is the debut studio album by the English rock band Def Leppard, released on 14 March 1980. The album was produced by Tom Allom. It charted at No. 15 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 51 on the Billboard 200. The album features re-recorded versions of "Rocks Off" and "Overture", tracks from the band's original independently released EP, The Def Leppard E.P. Other tracks are re-recorded versions of early demos, some of which later appeared on the 2020 box set The Early Years 79–81. The album was certified gold by the RIAA on 18 November 1983 and platinum on 9 May 1989.

Testament (band) American thrash metal band

Testament is an American thrash metal band from Berkeley, California. Formed in 1983 under the name Legacy, the band's current lineup comprises rhythm guitarist Eric Peterson, lead vocalist Chuck Billy, lead guitarist Alex Skolnick, bassist Steve Di Giorgio and drummer Dave Lombardo. Testament has experienced many lineup changes over the years, with Peterson being the only remaining original member, though they have since been rejoined by one of its songwriters Skolnick, who was out of the band from 1992 to 2005. Billy has been a member of Testament since 1986, when he replaced original singer Steve "Zetro" Souza, who had joined Exodus as the replacement of Paul Baloff. He and Peterson are the only members to appear on all of Testament's studio albums, with the latter being the only constant member overall.

Alex Rüdinger is an American drummer. Rüdinger started playing drums at the age of 13, and since then he has played for numerous metal bands including Ordinance, Conquering Dystopia, Good Tiger, The Faceless, Threat Signal and The HAARP Machine. He has also done a variety of session work, both live and in the studio. Some of the bands he has worked for are Revocation, Monuments, Evan Brewer, Whitechapel, Light the Torch, Cognizance and Intronaut.

The Direction of Last Things is the fifth studio album by American progressive metal band Intronaut. The album was announced in August 2015 and released through Century Media on November 13, 2015. Singles “Fast Worms” and “Digital Gerrymandering” were released in September and October of 2015, respectively. The album was recorded and produced by Josh Newell with mixing by Devin Townsend.

<i>Endarkenment</i> Anaal Nathrakh album

Endarkenment is the eleventh studio album by British extreme metal band Anaal Nathrakh. The album was released on 2 October 2020 through Metal Blade Records. Two singles were released from the album: "Endarkenment" and "The Age of Starlight Ends". The music was recorded in Mick Kenney's studio in southern California, while the vocals were recorded in the band's home town of Birmingham, UK. Vocalist Dave Hunt said of the album, "I think in terms of feel, it's brighter, more open and direct than maybe we've been in the past. Obviously I don't mean it's happy-go-lucky sounding, or suggestive of a sunny disposition. I mean something more like it burns with light rather than glowers with darkness. It's coruscating." Most of the music was written by Kenney in less than a week.

Great Is Our Sin is the sixth studio album by the American death metal band Revocation, released on July 22, 2016. It is the band's first album to feature drummer Ash Pearson, who replaced original drummer Phil Dubois-Coyne in 2015.
