Anju Bobby George is a retired Indian athlete. She is India's first and only World Champion in the IAAF World Athletics Final. Anju Bobby George made history when she won the bronze medal in long jump at the 2003 World Championships in Athletics in Paris. With this achievement, she became the first Indian athlete ever to win a medal in a World Championships in Athletics jumping 6.70 m. She went on to win the gold medal at the IAAF World Athletics Final in 2005, a performance she considers her best. Anju was upgraded to the gold status from silver in the 2005 World Athletics Final in Monte Carlo following the disqualification of Tatyana Kotova of Russia by the International Association of Athletics Federations, following the recent re-testing of the latter's sample collected at the 2005 World Championship in Helsinki. She was awarded the Arjuna Award in 2002, Khel Ratna in 2003 and Padma Shri in 2004.. She had got 5th position with personal best score of 6.83 at the 2004 Athens Olympics. In March 2021, Anju won the BBC lifetime achievement award for best athlete in India.

Jaspal Rana is an Indian shooter. He contested mainly in the 25 m Centre Fire Pistol category. He was a gold medallist at the 1994 Asian Games, 1998 Commonwealth Games - Men's Center Fire Pistol, Men's Center Fire Pistol Pairs, 2002 Commonwealth Games - Men's 25m Center Fire Pistol, 2006 Commonwealth Games - Men's 25m Center Fire Pistol Pairs, and 2006 Asian Games. At present, Rana coaches at the Jaspal Rana Institute of Education and Technology in Dehradun.

Carrie Graf, who won seven championships, one with Sydney and six with Canberra, and Jan Stirling who led Adelaide to four titles, are the next most successful WNBL coaches.

South Korea womens national volleyball team

The South Korea women's national volleyball team represents South Korea in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches. It was one of the leading squads in the world in the 1970s and 1990s and is still one of the best teams in Asian women's volleyball, having won the bronze medal at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and placing fourth at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Germany and the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, Great Britain.

The South Korea men's national volleyball team represents South Korea in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches. The Republic of Korea (ROK) has competed in the Olympic Games eight times, but has not featured since the Sydney 2000 Games. The team's best performance at the Olympic Games was 5th place at the 1984 Games in Los Angeles, California, United States. The national team at the Asian Championship winner four gold medal in 1989 Seoul, 1993 Nakhon Ratchasima, 2001 Changwon and 2003 Tianjin. This performance did not come close to matching their best FIVB World Championship finish of fourth in 1978, when they lost to Cuba in the bronze medal match.

India womens national field hockey team

The Indian women's national field hockey team represents India in international field hockey, and is governed by Hockey India. Nabhvarna are currently ranked 7th in the FIH World Rankings, and are ranked as the best team in Asia. They have won the gold medals at the 2002 Commonwealth Games and 1982 Asian Games. They have also won the Women's Asia Cup twice, i.e. in 2004 and 2017. They also won the Asian Champions Trophy in 2016. India at the 2020 Summer Olympics, for the first time ever, reached the semi-final in an Olympic event.

India mens national volleyball team

The India men's national volleyball team represents India in international volleyball competitions. It is managed by the Volleyball Federation of India and is currently sponsored by Sahara India Pariwar and Asics.

Japan national under-23 football team

The Japan national under-23 football team is a national association football youth team of Japan and is controlled by the Japan Football Association. The team won the gold medal at the 2010 Asian Games and were champions in the 2016 AFC U-23 Championship. The head coach is Hajime Moriyasu. Since 1992, it was decided that teams targeting athletes under the age of 23 will participate in the Olympics. Therefore, the name changes to Japan national under-22 football team the year before the Olympics and Japan national under-21 football team two years ago. The exception to this is the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, which has been postponed for one year, so in 2021, the team will be called the Japan national under-24 football team.
