The Singapore men's national basketball team is the national team for Singapore in basketball. It is managed by the Basketball Association of Singapore, formerly the Singapore Amateur Basketball Association (SABA).

The Singapore national under-23 football team is the national under-23 association football team of Singapore. The team comes under the organisation of the Football Association of Singapore (FAS).

The football tournament at the 2001 SEA Games was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It included a men's tournament, and was also the first Southeast Asian Games to include a women's tournament. The men's competition was held from 1 to 15 September 2001, while the women's tournament was held from 4 to 14 September 2001. The men's tournament was the first of the Southeast Asian Games to have an age limit, and has been played by U-23 national teams since then, while the women's tournament has no age limit. All matches were held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Malaysia national under-22 football team represents Malaysia in international football competitions including in the SEA Games of the 2017 edition. It is managed by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM). This team was created for the 2013 AFC U-22 Championship qualification, 2017 SEA Games and participated in the 2019 AFF U-22 Youth Championship.

S. Suria Prakash is a Singapore international footballer who plays as a winger for S.League club Tanjong Pagar United.

Muhammad Saifullah bin Muhammad Akbar is a Singaporean professional footballer who plays as a forward or attacking midfielder for Tampines Rovers and the Singapore national team.

The 2018 Singapore Premier League was the inaugural season of the Singapore Premier League, the top-flight Singaporean professional league for association football clubs. The season began on 31 March 2018, and concluded on 3 October 2018. Albirex Niigata (S) won the league and successfully defended their title.

The 2019 Singapore Premier League was the 2nd season of the Singapore Premier League, the top-flight Singaporean professional league for association football clubs, since its rebranding in 2018. A major overhaul from the new FAS management was made from this season onwards to improve the standard of Singapore football.
