For Muzik is the debut extended play by South Korean girl group 4Minute. It features their debut single "Hot Issue". The title track "Muzik" was used to promote the mini-album, as well as "What a Girl Wants" later that year. [1]
After the release of their debut single, "Hot Issue", the group started recording their first album, including a remix of "Hot Issue" done by Shinsadong Tiger.[ citation needed ] The album was released digitally on August 28, 2009. "Hot Issue" charted at number 20 while "Muzik" charted at number 21 on the year-end Melon chart for 2009. Hot Issue was re-released in higher quality on 1thek on January 22, 2019. [2]
The group promoted the album by performing "Hot Issue", "Muzik" and "What a Girl Wants" on various TV shows. These included Mnet's M! Countdown, KBS's Music Bank , MBC's Show! Music Core and SBS's Inkigayo . Promotions lasted from June until the end of December 2009. The album was also promoted in Japan, where a repackaged version of the album was released.
On September 1, 2009, the music video for "Muzik" was released. It with the intro track "For Muzik", followed by a scene showing the group dancing in a room with flashing lights. There are individual inter-scenes of single members wearing latex leggings and dancing to the song.
On August 31, 2009, Korean broadcaster KBS banned the playing of the song "Won't Give You" because of inappropriate lyrics, specifically the following line that roughly translates to "Starting from today, I won't give myself to you. Now, I will never give you my entire heart. Now, I won't ever give myself to you." In response, Cube Entertainment stated, "The lyrics for "Won't Give You" is about the pure feelings of a girl to a guy. We are very disappointed that the lyrics were deemed inappropriate." [1]

Kan Mi-youn is a South Korean singer, actress, radio host, model, fashion designer, and businesswoman. Kan joined the South Korean girl group Baby V.O.X. in October 1997, which went on to become one of the most popular girl groups of that time. Kan went on to become a solo artist after the group disbanded in February 2006.
4Minute was a South Korean girl group formed by Cube Entertainment, consisting of members, Jihyun, Gayoon, Jiyoon, Hyuna and Sohyun. The group was known for its edgy dance-pop style and "girl crush" image that attracted a large female fan base.
Kim Hyun-ah, better known by the mononym Hyuna, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, rapper, and model. She debuted as a member of the girl group Wonder Girls in February 2007. Upon leaving the ensemble shortly after, Hyuna subsequently left JYP Entertainment and joined the girl group 4Minute, under Cube Entertainment. 4Minute debuted in June 2009 and went on to become one of the most popular girl groups in the country. In 2010, Hyuna began a solo career with a style she described as "performance-oriented music". Her solo debut single "Change" charted at number-two on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart.
Hit Your Heart (HuH) is the second extended play by South Korean girl group 4Minute. The mini-album was released on May 19, 2010, and contains seven tracks. "HuH" was being used as the promotional song for the mini-album. The song debuted at number five on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart and reached number three for two weeks. The mini-album debuted at number three on the Gaon Album Chart on May 30. Promotions for the mini-album in South Korea continued with "I My Me Mine", which later received a single release in Japan.
Diamond is the debut Japanese studio album by South Korean girl group 4Minute. It was released in Japan on December 15, 2010. It was released in two editions, regular CD only, and limited CD+DVD. The limited edition includes a 52-page photobook that highlights some of their single releases and Japanese debuts. The album sold 7,060 copies in Japan, peaking at the #27 spot in the Oricon weekly charts. The Korean edition of the album was released on January 25, 2011, but doesn't includes the Korean songs from their debut EP "For Muzik".
