Act. 7 is the seventh and final extended play by South Korean girl group 4Minute. It was released on February 1, 2016, and consists of five songs. The lead track "Hate" was released in promotion. This is the last release from 4Minute prior to their disbandment announced in June 2016.

Background

On January 25, Cube Entertainment released the track list and individual teaser images for the members. The first track, "Hate", was co-composed and arranged by EDM DJ Skrillex. [1]

Release and promotion

On January 29, the group released their first teaser video for "Hate" with a dramatic scene of each member. The music video for "Hate" was released on February 1, with the concept being a sexy take on a hip hop clip. [2] The music video achieved 1 million views in under 24 hours of release, with some commentators attributing the high figure to anticipation for the group's comeback. [3]

The group began promotion on MBC Music's Show Champion on February 3, then continued their first week of performances for the album on Mnet's M! Countdown , KBS's Music Bank , MBC's Music Core and SBS's Inkigayo on February 4, 5, 6 and 7 respectively.

On April 15, 2016, the group released a music video for the track "Canvas".

The mini-album debuted at number three on the Gaon Album Chart on May 30. Promotions for the mini-album in South Korea continued with "I My Me Mine", which later received a single release in Japan.

Mr. Simple is the fifth studio album by the South Korean boy band Super Junior. It was released on August 3, 2011, by SM Entertainment, distributed by KMP Holdings and digitally release on August 2. On September 19, 2011, a repackaged edition was released, re-titled A-Cha. It features four new tracks including title track "A-Cha" and "Superman" which was previously released in version B only. A-Jax (band) South Korean boyband

A-Jax was a South Korean boy band formed by DSP Media in 2012. Early in their career, the group was known as DSP Boyz but then was changed to A-Jax. The group's final lineup was composed of five members: Hyeongkon, Yunyoung, Seungjin, Seungyeop, and Junghee. They made the first appearance on TV as a group on MBC Music's Making the Star – DSP Boyz on April 24, 2012. The group made its official debut with the single "One 4 U" in South Korea on June 1 and in Japan on August 8, 2012 with the same song.

Fiestar South Korean girl group

Fiestar was a South Korean girl group formed by Kakao M. Before the group's debut, they released a duet with label mate IU titled “Sea of Moonlight” for LOEN Entertainment's collective label album. The track ended up being a domestic success and entered the top ten of the Gaon Digital Chart, earning the group attention before their debut. The group officially debuted on August 31, 2012 with the single album "Vista" and six members: Cao Lu, Jei, Linzy, Hyemi, Cheska and Yezi.

"Mr. Chu" is a song by South Korean girl group Apink. The song is their 5th Korean single and served as the lead single from their 4th mini-album Pink Blossom. It was released on March 31, 2014 by A Cube Entertainment. The song composed by Duble Sidekick. The song's music video was directed by Digipedi and released on the same day. Apink performed the song for the first time on KBS's Music Bank on April 4. The song peaked at number 2 on Billboard's K-Pop Hot 100. Apink won six music show trophies for "Mr. Chu" and wrapped up promotions for Mr. Chu on May 25. The song was the eighth best selling digital song in 2014, according to Gaon's year-end chart. Crazy is the sixth extended play (EP) by South Korean girl group 4Minute. It was released on February 9, 2015, by Cube Entertainment and distributed by Universal Music Group. It was the group's first offering in 11 months since the release of 4Minute World (2014). The EP marked a shift towards a bolder concept and fresh direction for the group and contains six songs.
