Jeon Ji-yoon (born October 15, 1990), professionally known as Jiyoon or Jenyer, is a South Korean singer, rapper, and songwriter known for her work as a former member of South Korean girl group 4Minute. She debuted as a solo artist on November 2, 2016, under the stage name Jenyer, with the release of her debut digital single, "I Do". [1]
Jeon Ji-yoon was born on October 15, 1990 [2] in Suwon, South Korea. She graduated from Byeongjeom High School and is currently attending Kyung Hee University, majoring in Post Modern Music.[ citation needed ]
Jiyoon was chosen as a member of 4Minute in 2009. The five-member girl group officially debuted on June 18, 2009 with their debut single "Hot Issue" on M! Countdown. [3] On October 15, 2009, she was a featured artist in Woo Yi-kyung's album Look at Me with the song "Look at Me". On April 13, 2010, she was a featured artist in Lee Hyo-ri's fourth album H-Logic with the song "Bring It Back" together with After School's Bekah. [4] She sang in the soundtrack of MBC's My Princess , with the song "Oasis", released on February 7, 2011. [5] She was also featured in Hyuna's album Bubble Pop! in the song "Downtown". The album was released on July 5, 2011. [6]
Ji-yoon joined KBS's Immortal Songs 2 in June 2011 as a replacement of Song Ji Eun of Secret due to their Japanese promotions. "I felt that her vocals were more charming than [4Minute's] main vocalist Gayoon," the producer of the show said. [7] On the show, professionals sing competitively and are judged by a studio audience of 200. [8] She sang "We Meet Again" in an episode broadcast on July 15. [8] And joining on KBS's Immortal Songs 2, she won together with DJ Koo with the song "I (Nan)" originally by Clon against Super Junior's Kyuhyun and Son Ho-young.
Jiyoon and her bandmate Gayoon had formed a subgroup called 2Yoon in 2013. They released their debut EP "Harvest Moon" with lead single "24/7" on 17 January 2013. The sub-group officially debuted on January 17 on M Countdown. In September 2014, it was revealed that Ji-yoon will making her acting debut with the web drama Dreaming CEO. [9]
On September 24, 2015, it was revealed that Jiyoon will join Unpretty Rapstar Season 2. [10] During Unpretty Rapstar, Jiyoon released a solo song featuring Jung Il-hoon called "This Ain’t Me" during the semifinals. On 13 June 2016, Cube Entertainment announced that 4Minute decided to disband and the members, excluding HyunA, were still in discussion on whether they will renew their contracts. [11] [12] On 15 June 2016, Cube Entertainment official announced that Jihyun, Gayoon, Jiyoon and Sohyun's contracts had expired and they decided not to renew their contracts. [13] [14]
On August 8, 2016, Jiyoon has signed an exclusive contract with JS E&M, which also houses artists such as actors Seo Ha-joon, Byun Jung-soo, Yang Mi-ra and Chun Jung-myung, as well as South Korean girl group Tren-D. The agency announced her solo debut plans and actively support her from music to acting and also on variety shows, citing her as having "unlimited potential". [15] [16] [17] On August 31, 2016, Jiyoon is reported hard at work preparing for a digital single album release in October. Despite being a singer, her new agency confirmed she will also be active in upcoming dramas and broadcasts. [18] [19]
Jiyoon debuted as a solo artist on November 2, 2016 by the stage name "Jenyer", with the single album Day and Night. The title song "I Do" and its music video were released on the same day. Jiyoon didn't promote her new single on music shows. On March 23, 2017, she released the collaboration single "Cliché" with Samuel Seo. The accompanying music video was released the same day. On April 10, 2017, Jiyoon showed support and attended the movie premiere for "Daddy You, Daughter Me" in which Heo Gayoon, the former groupmate of Jiyoon, made her acting debut. [20] Since 2019, she's also the vocalist of the band Prsnt with DJ Allzwell and producer mOnSteR nO.9.

Kim Tae-woo is a South Korean singer, best known as the lead vocalist of boy band g.o.d. He debuted in 1999 as a member of g.o.d and continued as a solo artist after the group went on hiatus in 2006. In addition to his solo career, Kim has also sung the OSTs of award-winning popular dramas and performed in musicals.
4Minute was a South Korean girl group formed by Cube Entertainment, consisting of members Jihyun, Gayoon, Jiyoon, Hyuna and Sohyun. The group was known for its edgy dance-pop style and "girl crush" image that attracted a large female fan base.
Kim Hyun-ah, known professionally as Hyuna, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, rapper and model. She debuted as a member of the girl group Wonder Girls in February 2007. Hit Your Heart (HuH) is the second extended play by South Korean girl group 4Minute. The mini-album was released on May 19, 2010, and contains seven tracks. "HuH" was being used as the promotional song for the mini-album. The song debuted at number five on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart and reached number three for two weeks. The mini-album debuted at number three on the Gaon Album Chart on May 30. Promotions for the mini-album in South Korea continued with "I My Me Mine", which later received a single release in Japan.
Heo Ga-yoon, better known by the mononym Gayoon, is a South Korean actress and singer. She is a former member of South Korean girl group 4Minute and its sub-group 2Yoon.

Shin Ji-min, better known mononymously as Jimin, is a South Korean rapper and singer. She is the former leader and main rapper of the girl group AOA and guitarist of the sub-unit AOA Black, which debuted under FNC Entertainment. In 2015, Jimin was a semi-finalist in the first season of Unpretty Rapstar. During the show, she released several successful collaboration singles, most notably "Good Start" and "Puss". Following allegations of bullying by former bandmate Kwon Mina, Jimin left the group and retired from the entertainment industry in July 2020. She returned to the entertainment industry in July 2022.
Kwon So-hyun, known mononymously as Sohyun, is a South Korean actress and singer. She was known as a former member of South Korean girl group 4Minute, under Cube Entertainment, and also a former member of the South Korean girl group, Orange. Before June 15, 2016, Kwon left 4Minute and the record label along with members Nam Ji-hyun, Heo Ga-yoon, and Jeon Ji-yoon.
Kim Eun-young, known by her stage name Cheetah (치타), is a South Korean rapper. Cheetah rose to fame as the winner on the TV competition Unpretty Rapstar. She debuted in 2010 with the song "Stop " as a part of the duo Blacklist and was signed under C9 Entertainment. In April 2020, she left C9 Entertainment, which she belonged to from her debut, and founded the one-person agency, Ceuda Entertainment.

Yezi was a semi-finalist on Unpretty Rapstar 2 in 2015, during which she released several singles. Her debut solo maxi single, Foresight Dream, was released on January 28, 2016.

Lee Se-rin, known by the stage name Kasper, is an American singer, rapper, and YouTuber. She is best known as a contestant of Show Me the Money 4, Unpretty Rapstar 2, and as a former member of co-ed hip-hop group Play the Siren. She debuted as a solo artist with her debut single, "Lean on Me", in January 2017.
Yoon Ye-jin, better known by her stage name Nada (나다) is a South Korean rapper and singer. She is a former member of the girl group Wassup. Nada made her debut as a soloist on December 22, 2016, with the digital single "Seorae Village".
