Forbrugsforeningen (The Consumption Society), also called FBF, is Denmark's oldest and largest loyalty club with more than 247,500 members. [1] FBF is a non-profit organisation, [2] that was established 20 April 1886 as Forbrugsforeningen af 1886.

Loyalty programs are structured marketing strategies designed by merchants to encourage customers to continue to shop at or use the services of businesses associated with each program. These programs exist covering most types of commerce, each one having varying features and rewards-schemes.

FBF's product is a combined loyalty card and credit card to be used in shops and webshops to earn and accumulate bonuses, also called cashback. The size of bonuses varies from shop to shop. To become a member of FBF, one has to be a member of a trade union. [3] There is a small membership fee.

A trade union is an association of workers forming a legal unit or legal personhood, usually called a "bargaining unit", which acts as bargaining agent and legal representative for a unit of employees in all matters of law or right arising from or in the administration of a collective agreement. Labour unions typically fund the formal organization, head office, and legal team functions of the labour union through regular fees or union dues. The delegate staff of the labour union representation in the workforce are made up of workplace volunteers who are appointed by members in democratic elections.

FBF won the title as best loyaltyclub in Denmark in 2015, primarily due to the ease of transparency when accumulating bonuses, regular cashbacks without a minimum amount. [3]

Boldklubben Frem is a Danish sports club based in the Valby-Sydhavnen area of Copenhagen. It is best known for its semi-professional football team. Since its foundation in 1886, Frem has won the Danish Championships six times and the Danish Cup twice. Until the disastrous bankruptcy in 1993, Frem had played in the top division all but six seasons. After the bankruptcy the club fought its way back to the top of Danish football, but in 2010 it went bankrupt again and was demoted to the Copenhagen Series—the fifth tier in the Danish league system. After two back to back promotions, the club now participates in the Danish 2. Division, the third tier.

Sweden does not currently use the euro as its currency and has no plans to replace the krona in the near future. Sweden's Treaty of Accession of 1994 made it subject to the Treaty of Maastricht, which obliges states to join the eurozone once they meet the necessary conditions. Same-sex couples have had access to registered partnerships, which provided them with nearly all of the rights provided to married opposite-sex couples from 1996 to 2016. On 1 April 2016, a law repealing the registered partnership law and allowing for same-sex marriages to be performed came into effect.

Same-sex marriage in Greenland, an autonomous territory within the Kingdom of Denmark, has been legal since 1 April 2016. The territory had previously recognised registered partnerships, from 1 July 1996 until 1 April 2016.

General elections were held in Denmark on 5 June 2019 to elect all 179 members of the Folketing; 175 in Denmark proper, two in the Faroe Islands and two in Greenland. The elections took place ten days after the European Parliament elections.

Since 2016 more than 250 companies joined UNICARD network. Partner companies participating in UNICARD loyalty card program reward their customers every time card holders make a purchase.
