Sintaluta is a town in Saskatchewan, Canada. The population of Sintaluta is 124 people according to the 2021 Census of Population. The town is about 85 km east of Regina. The town is on the north side of the Trans-Canada Highway. The name Sintaluta comes from a Lakota language word meaning tail of the red fox.

A farming community, the village is located on Highway 18 in the southeastern corner of Saskatchewan. Gainsborough is approximately 6 km (3.7 mi) from the Manitoba border, and 19 km (12 mi) from the North Dakota, United States border. The first post office was established on April 1, 1884 as the community of Antler. On September 1, 1885, the name of the community changed to Gainsborough, after Gainsborough, Lincolnshire in England, which was the former home of J. J. Sadler, an early settler.

The hamlet is approximately 40 km north west of the Town of Kindersley at the intersection of Highway 317 and Highway 772. The Canadian Pacific Railway played a big role in the town's economy when it was completed in 1913, in the early years of Hoosier's history. Due to the closure of a branch line in 1981, the tracks from Dodsland to Hoosier were pulled and the last of the community's grain elevators was demolished, causing Hoosier's population to decline.
