The France Poker Series (FPS) started in May 2010, is a major regional poker tour in France and French speaking countries. The tour is sponsored by PokerStars.com, like its counterparts, the European Poker Tour (2004), Asia Pacific Poker Tour (2007), Latin American Poker Tour (2008) and North American Poker Tour (2010). The FPS is a series of poker tournaments that ran for 6 seasons from 2010 to 2016 and 29 stops in France, Morocco and Monaco, where the best poker players from the region and the world competed for the title of champion of FPS.
In 2017, the series was discontinued, as well as other poker series around the world sponsored by PokerStars.net, rebranding to the PokerStars Festival for country tours and PokerStars Championship for major regional tours, which brought together all other regional tours such as LAPT (Latin American Poker Tour), EKA (Eureka Poker Tour), IPT (Italian Poker Tour), ESPT (Estrellas Poker Tour) UKIPT (UK and Ireland Poker Tour), among others. In 2018 the PokerStars Festival was discontinued. [2]
In 2022, PokerStars.net announces the return of the France Poker Series in events that took place in France and Monaco. [3] [4]

The European Poker Tour (EPT) is a series of poker tournaments created by John Duthie, winner of the inaugural Poker Million tournament. It began in 2004 as part of the worldwide explosion in Texas Hold 'em popularity. Since 2011 the EPT has been sponsored and wholly owned and controlled by PokerStars the online casino and taped by Sunset + Vine for television broadcast across Europe. By season 4 the buy-in for most EPT events was increased to €8,000. At 2007 exchange rates, this is approximately equal to the US$10,000 which is the buy-in for most major poker events.

Rob Hollink is a professional poker player based in Groningen. He has won both a European Poker Tour (EPT) title and World Series of Poker bracelet, becoming the first person from the Netherlands to do so, first was at the EPT's inaugural Grand Final of the European Poker Tour in Monte Carlo in 2005 and then he won his first bracelet at the 2008 World Series of Poker in the $10,000 Limit Hold'em World Championship, becoming the first Dutch bracelet winner.

The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure is an annual televised poker tournament. The event was first held in 2004 and was originally co-sponsored by PokerStars and the World Poker Tour. In 2008, the event moved from the WPT to the European Poker Tour. In 2010, the event was moved again and served as the inaugural event of the North American Poker Tour. In 2017 the tournament was the inaugural event of the new PokerStars Championship tour and renamed PokerStars Championship Bahamas. The name was changed back to the PCA for 2018 and the buy-in restored to $10,000.
Johnny Lodden is a Norwegian professional poker player prominently known for his online success. He frequently played under the alias "bad_ip" on Prima network online high-stakes games, and for a brief time he was considered the biggest winner in the largest online cash games in the world. Lodden has also been known to occasionally play on PokerStars under the alias "Lars-Magne". In August 2007 Lodden gave a brief interview with the Danish poker journal Acemag, where he admitted to having lost his whole bankroll and had to retire his old bad_ip account and start from scratch with a stake from a friend.
The Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) is a major international series of poker tournaments established in 2007 and hosted in cities across the Asia Pacific. Along with other major tours such as the European Poker Tour and Latin American Poker Tour, the Asia Pacific Poker Tour is sponsored by PokerStars.
Isaac Baron an American professional poker player from Menlo Park, California. He was the winner of the first Card Player Magazine Online Poker Player of the Year Award in 2007.
Mike McDonald is a Canadian poker player. McDonald is the youngest person to win an event on the European Poker Tour (EPT) and the youngest person to win an event on the Epic Poker League (EPL).
Jason Mercier is an American professional poker player from Hollywood, Florida. He has won six World Series of Poker bracelets and one European Poker Tour title. Mercier is a member of Team PokerStars Pro and was named the Bluff Magazine Player of the Year for 2009. He was WSOP Player of the Year in 2016.
The North American Poker Tour (NAPT) was a series of international poker tournaments held in North America. The NAPT included an associated television series broadcasting the final table of some of the tournaments.

The UK and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) started in December 2009, is a major regional poker tour in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The Belgian Poker Challenge (BPC) is a tournament sponsored by PokerStars with the winner becoming the Belgian Poker Champion.
The PokerStars Festival was a series of global poker tournaments which began in 2016. The formation of the series was announced in August 2016, when PokerStars revealed that the European Poker Tour and other poker tours were being rebranded. Thirteen tournament festivals were played in the inaugural season, in the North America, Europe, South America and Asia. PokerStars also announced another series of tournaments, PokerStars Championship, which features higher buy-in events. The series was discontinued after the second season.
