History

Funrise Toy Corporation designs, manufactures, and distributes toys for children. The company offers a line of preschool toys, as well as toys for kids of various age groups. It serves customers through its showrooms. The company was founded in 1987 and is based in Van Nuys, California with additional offices and showrooms in Bentonville, Arkansas; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Ontario, California; Kowloon, Hong Kong; Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom; and Nuremberg, Germany, as well as Australia. As of June 8, 2007, Funrise Toy Corp. is a subsidiary of Matrix Holdings Ltd. [2]

Funrise's entertainment division serves as the producer for the Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty television series, which airs on Nickelodeon and Nicktoons. The series is animated by Bardel Entertainment. [11]

Star Fairies was a doll toy series of the 1980s made by the Tonka company. The dolls had different costumes and personalities. Star Fairies was adapted into a televised special, made by Hanna-Barbera in 1985. Family Home Entertainment released the special on VHS in 1986.

Luna Petunia is a live action/animated television series co-produced by Saban Brands, BrainPower Studio and Cirque du Soleil Media. The series premiered on Netflix on December 9, 2016. It follows the adventures of a live-action little girl named Luna Petunia who receives a toy chest on her birthday where she is transported into the animated world of Amazia where she learns how to make the impossible possible. Season 2 was released on July 7, 2017. Season 3 was released on November 17, 2017.

Enchantimals is a media franchise-supported toy line launched on July 18, 2017, by American multinational toy company Mattel as a companion to Ever After High and the second spin-off to Monster High. The line consists of human–animal hybrids and their woodland creature pets who live in a fictional setting of Everwilde. The Enchantimals media include a web series, books, and a television special. The franchise development began in late 2015, it was announced in October 2016, and its toys were first released in June 2017.

My Little Pony: Make Your Mark is a Canadian animated television series tied to the fifth incarnation of Hasbro's My Little Pony toyline. Set after the events of the film My Little Pony: A New Generation (2021), the series follows five ponies—Sunny Starscout, an idealistic earth pony; Izzy Moonbow, a creative unicorn; Hitch Trailblazer, a responsible earth pony; and sisters Zipp Storm and Pipp Petals, two pegasi princesses—on their adventures and battles across Equestria. The ponies are joined later on by Misty Brightdawn, a shy unicorn and former associate of the series' antagonist, the villainous alicorn Opaline Arcana.
