Armenia has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 16 times since making its debut in 2006,when Andrébecame the first participant representing Armenia and was the first singer from the Caucasus region to compete at Eurovision. Armenia has reached the top 10 on eight occasions,with the country's best result in the contest being two fourth-place finishes,achieved by Sirusho with the song "Qélé,Qélé" (2008),and Aram Mp3 with "Not Alone" (2014). 2011 was the first year that Armenia failed to advance from the semi-final round. This was followed by the country withdrawing from the 2012 contest due to security concerns in the host city,Baku. In 2018 and 2019,Armenia consecutively failed to qualify from the semi-finals for the second and third time respectively. Armenia planned to participate in the 2021 contest but withdrew before selecting an entry. Armenia has qualified for every grand final since it returned in 2022.

Armenia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song "LoveWave" written by Lilith Navasardyan,Levon Navasardyan,Iveta Mukuchyan and Stephanie Crutchfield. The song was performed by Iveta Mukuchyan,who was selected internally by the Armenian broadcaster Public Television of Armenia (AMPTV) to represent Armenia in the 2016 contest in Stockholm,Sweden. Mukuchyan's selection as the Armenian artist was announced on 13 October 2015,while the song "LoveWave" was later presented to the public on 2 March 2016.
Bulgaria participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the song "Beautiful Mess" written by Borislav Milanov,Sebastian Arman,Joacim Bo Persson,Alex Omar and Alexander V. Blay. The song was performed by Kristian Kostov. On 13 March 2017,the Bulgarian broadcaster Bulgarian National Television (BNT) announced that Kristian Kostov had been selected to compete at the 2017 contest in Kyiv,Ukraine. The song that Kostov competed with,"Beautiful Mess",was also internally selected and was presented to the public on the same day.
Armenia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 with the song "Qami" written by Sevak Khanagyan,Anna Danielyan and Viktorya Maloyan. The song was performed by Sevak Khanagyan. The Armenian entry for the 2018 contest in Lisbon,Portugal was selected through the national final Depi Evratesil 2018,organised by the Armenian broadcaster Public Television of Armenia (AMPTV). The national final and consisted of three shows:two semi-finals and a final. Ten entries competed in each semi-final with the top five from each semi-final qualifying to compete in the final on 25 February 2018. "Qami" performed by Sevak Khanagyan was selected as the winner following the combination of votes from an international jury and a public televote.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2019 was the 64th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Tel Aviv,Israel,following the country's victory at the 2018 contest with the song "Toy" by Netta. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (IPBC/Kan),the contest was held at Expo Tel Aviv,and consisted of two semi-finals on 14 and 16 May,and a final on 18 May 2019. The three live shows were presented by Israeli television presenters Erez Tal,Assi Azar and Lucy Ayoub,and Israeli model Bar Refaeli.

It represented Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv,Israel after being internally selected by the Public Television Company of Armenia (AMPTV),Armenia's broadcaster for the Eurovision Song Contest. Composed by Lost Capital and tokionine,the lyrics of the song were written by Garik Papoyan,who had previously co-written Armenia's 2014 entry for Aram Mp3. It did not advance to the final.
Armenia originally planned to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with the song "Chains on You" written by Athena Manoukian and DJ Paco. The song was performed by Athena Manoukian. The Armenian entry for the 2020 contest in Rotterdam,Netherlands was selected through the national final Depi Evratesil 2020,organised by the Armenian broadcaster Public Television of Armenia (AMPTV). The national final took place on 15 February 2020 where twelve entries competed. Montenegro participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin,Italy with the song "Breathe" written by Vladana Vučinićand Darko Dimitrov. The song was performed by Vučinić,who was internally selected by the Montenegrin broadcaster Radio i televizija Crne Gore (RTCG) to represent the nation at the 2022 contest. Vučinićwas announced as the Montenegrin representative on 4 January 2022,while her song was presented to the public on 4 March 2022.
Arpine Martoyan,known professionally as Maléna,is an Armenian singer and songwriter. She represented Armenia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song "Qami Qami",and went on to win the competition,becoming the second Armenian entrant to win the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

Roza Kostandyan,known professionally as Rosa Linn,is an Armenian singer-songwriter. She started her career by getting signed by Nvak Collective and releasing her debut single "King" with Kiiara in 2021. In 2022,Linn represented her country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin,Italy with the song "Snap" and finished in 20th place. Following the contest,the song went viral on TikTok and charted globally;earning her a recording contract with Columbia Records. Her debut EP,Lay Your Hands Upon My Heart,was released on 22 June 2023.

"Jako" is a song by French-Armenian world music duo Ladaniva. The song was originally released on 29 September 2023 on the duo's debut self-titled album as a track. It represented Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024,and finished in 8th place at the grand final with 183 points. It peaked at number twenty two in Lithuania.
