Ganzhou railway station is a railway station located in Zhanggong District, Ganzhou, Jiangxi, China. It is one of two passenger railway stations in Ganzhou, the other being Ganzhou West railway station which is served by high-speed trains. It has five platforms and an avoiding line in each direction.

History

The railway station was opened in 1996 with the Beijing–Kowloon railway. [1] An additional island platform was put into use in January 2013. [2]

Xi'an railway station is one of the two main passenger railway stations of Xi'an, the capital of China's Shaanxi Province. Located on the Longhai Railway and just to the north of Xi'an's historical walled city, the station had long been the main train station for the Xi'an metropolitan area. With the opening of Xi'an North railway station on the northern outskirts of the city in 2011, most of the high-speed services, including the G- and D-series trains of the Zhengzhou–Xi'an high-speed railway, have been transferred to the new station. Xi'an railway station remains the main station for all conventional rail service in the city, including the overnight Z-series expresses, T-series express trains, and all slower services.

Ganzhou–Shenzhen high-speed railway, or Ganzhou–Shenzhen section of Beijing–Hong Kong corridor, is a high-speed railway from Shenzhen and the Pearl River Delta through northeast Guangdong province to Ganzhou in Jiangxi province. It will form part of Beijing–Hong Kong corridor. The railway opened on 10 December 2021.
