Ganzhou West railway station is a railway station located in Nankang District, Ganzhou, Jiangxi, China. It is one of two passenger railway stations in Ganzhou, the other being the more central Ganzhou railway station which is served by conventional trains. It has six platforms and an avoiding line in each direction.

The station is on the future Beijing–Hong Kong (Taipei) corridor.

History

The railway station was opened on 26 December 2019 with the Nanchang–Ganzhou high-speed railway. [1]

The Ganzhou–Longyan railway or Ganlong railway is a railway connecting Jiangxi and Fujian Provinces, in southeastern China. The line is named after its two terminal cities Ganzhou and Longyan, and has a total length of 290.1 km (180.3 mi). Construction began on December 8, 2001, and the line entered operation on October 1, 2005. Major cities and counties along route include Ganzhou, Ganxian, Yudu, Huichang, Ruijin in Jiangxi Province, and Changting, Liancheng, Shanghang, and Longyan in Fujian Province.

Ganzhou–Shenzhen high-speed railway, or Ganzhou–Shenzhen section of Beijing–Hong Kong corridor, is a high-speed railway from Shenzhen and the Pearl River Delta through northeast Guangdong province to Ganzhou in Jiangxi province. It will form part of Beijing–Hong Kong corridor. The railway opened on 10 December 2021.

The Nanchang–Ganzhou high-speed railway, or Changgan Passenger Dedicated Line, is a high-speed railway between Nanchang and Ganzhou in Jiangxi province. The southern section of that railway, the Ganzhou–Shenzhen high-speed railway, commenced construction in January 2015. This allows for fast connections from Jiangxi to several coastal cities in Guangdong and Fujian.

The Beijing–Hong Kong high-speed railway or Jinggang high-speed railway from its Chinese name is a high-speed railway corridor of the CRH passenger service, connecting Beijing Fengtai railway station in Beijing and Futian railway station in Shenzhen, Guangdong. The existing, conventional Jingjiu railway runs largely parallel to the line.

The Beijing–Hong Kong (Taipei) corridor is a proposed high-speed railway corridor in Greater China. It will run in a north–south direction from Beijing to Hong Kong, with a branch leading from Hefei to end at Taipei across the Taiwan Strait. It will connect the cities of Beijing, Xiong'an, Fuyang, Hefei, Jiujiang, Nanchang, Ganzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong on the main line, as well as Fuzhou and Taipei, Taiwan on the branch line.

He was vice chairman of the Standing Committee of Jiangxi Provincial People's Congress from 2015 to 2018, party secretary of Ganzhou from 2010 to 2015, and before that, vice governor of Jiangxi, from 2008 to 2011. Shi is the second vice-provincial level official in Jiangxi to be targeted by China's top anticorruption watchdog since the 19th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party, after Li Yihuang.

Xinfeng West railway station is a railway station in Xinfeng County, Ganzhou, Jiangxi, China. It is an intermediate stop on the Ganzhou–Shenzhen high-speed railway. It opened with the line on 10 December 2021.

Xiaochikou railway station is a railway station in Huangmei County, Huanggang, Hubei, China. It is currently served by one train, the 6026 from Jiujiang to Machang. It is reportedly the least-used station under Nanchang Railway Bureau.
