Gar Ab (Persian : گراب‎, also Romanized as Gar Āb)^[1] is a village in Jaghin-e Shomali Rural District, Jaghin District, Rudan County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 470, in 87 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Jaghin-e Shomali Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Jaghin District of Rudan County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 7,171, in 1,482 families. The rural district has 10 villages.

Jaghin District is a district (bakhsh) in Rudan County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 11,254, in 2,329 families. The District has no cities. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Jaghin-e Jonubi Rural District and Jaghin-e Shomali Rural District.
