Kahnu Shotori (Persian : كهنوشتري‎, also Romanized as Kahnū Shotorī; also known as Kahnūj-e Shotorī)^[1] is a village in Berentin Rural District, Bikah District, Rudan County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 272, in 54 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Berentin Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Bikah District of Rudan County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 8,328, in 1,700 families. The rural district has 10 villages.

Bikah District is a district (bakhsh) in Rudan County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 22,532, in 4,666 families. The District has one city Bika. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Berentin Rural District and Bikah Rural District.
