The Lorillard Snuff Mill now known as the Lillian and Amy Goldman Stone Mill, is the oldest existing tobacco manufacturing building in the United States. It was built around 1840 next to the Bronx River to supplement an earlier building of the same function. The schist rock that makes up its walls was quarried locally. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1977. It is located inside the New York Botanical Garden, itself an NHL.
Odessa Historic District is a national historic district located at Odessa, New Castle County, Delaware. It encompasses 82 contributing buildings in the central business district and surrounding residential areas in the shipping and trading center of Odessa. It includes a mix of commercial and residential buildings primarily dating to the 18th and 19th century. The oldest building is the Collins-Sharp House. Other notable buildings include the Judge Lore House, Brick Hotel (1822), the Davis Store (1824), Cyrus Polk House (1853), Zoar ME Church (1881), Wilson-Warner House, Academy building (1844), Red Men Lodge (1894), and Old St. Paul's Methodist Episcopal parsonage. Also located in the district and separately listed are the Appoquinimink Friends Meetinghouse, Corbit-Sharp House, and Old St. Paul's Methodist Episcopal Church.
Yorklyn is an unincorporated community in northern New Castle County, Delaware, United States. It lies along Delaware Route 82 northwest of the city of Wilmington, the county seat of New Castle County. Its elevation is 174 feet (53 m). It has a post office with the ZIP code 19736.
Glenville Historic District, also known as Sherwood's Bridge, is a 33.9 acres (13.7 ha) historic district in the Glenville neighborhood of the town of Greenwich, Connecticut. It is the "most comprehensive example of a New England mill village within the Town of Greenwich". It "is also historically significant as one of the town's major staging areas of immigrants, predominantly Irish in the 19th century and Polish in the 20th century" and remains "the primary settlement of Poles in the town". Further, "[t]he district is architecturally significant because it contains two elaborate examples of mill construction, designed in the Romanesque Revival and a transitional Stick-style/Queen Anne; an excellent example of a Georgian Revival school; and notable examples of domestic and commercial architecture, including a Queen Anne mansion and an Italianate store building."

The Douglass House is a historic house currently located at the corner of Front and Montgomery Streets in the Mill Hill neighborhood of the city Trenton in Mercer County, New Jersey. It served as George Washington's headquarters prior to the Battle of Princeton on January 3, 1777. Listed as the Bright–Douglass House, it was documented by the Historic American Buildings Survey in 1936, when the house was located in Mahlon Stacy Park near the Delaware River. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 18, 1970, for its significance in architecture, military and social history. It was added as a contributing property to the Mill Hill Historic District on December 12, 1977.
England House and Mill, also known as Red Mill Farm, is a historic home located at Newark, New Castle County, Delaware. The two-story brick dwelling was built in 1747. The oldest part of the house is believed to be the larger upper level; the smaller lower level having been added later for the miller. The upper level measures approximately 33 feet (10 m) by 32 feet (9.8 m) and the lower level about 29 feet (8.8 m) by 19 feet (5.8 m).
Eastburn–Jeanes Lime Kilns Historic District is a national historic district located near Newark, New Castle County, Delaware. It encompasses six contributing buildings, two contributing sites, and eight contributing structures. They are eight line kilns and two abandoned quarries, together with stone buildings erected by Abel Jeanes and Joseph Eastburn. The buildings include the Abel Jeans Manor House, Blacks Mill, horse stable, and outhouse. They reflect the local lime-burning industry that started in 1816, and operated into the early 1900s.
Mount Cuba Historic District is a national historic district at Mount Cuba, New Castle County, Delaware. It encompasses twelve contributing buildings, one contributing site, and four contributing structures on seven properties that lie along County Road 261. Notable buildings include the Speakman's grist mill, saw mill, and adjoining stone house; and a number of frame dwellings in a variety of popular mid to late 19th-century architectural styles including Gothic Revival. The contributing site is the Mt. Cuba picnic grounds.
Auburn Mills Historic District is a national historic district located near Yorklyn, New Castle County, Delaware in Auburn Valley State Park. It encompasses 9 contributing buildings, 4 contributing sites, and 1 contributing structure that were mostly between 1890 and 1910 and related to the Auburn Mill. The district contains industrial, commercial, and domestic structures. They include the Horatio Gates Garrett House, Israel Marshall House (1897), The "Bank" worker's row house, Auburn Store/NVP Office, Frame Workers' Housing Site, Insulite Mill (1900), Blacksmith's Shop Site, Auburn Mill, Utility Shed, and Trolley Line Trestle Piers.
Garrett Snuff Mill, also known as the George W. Helme Company, is a historic snuff tobacco mill complex located at Yorklyn, New Castle County, Delaware. The complex includes 14 contributing buildings built between 1846 and 1901. The buildings are architecturally unified as most are built of brick, with the two earliest mills constructed of stone. The Garrett family introduced the manufacture of snuff to Delaware. The complex housed a snuff manufacturing operation until 1954.
Greenbank Historic Area is a historic grist mill located at Marshallton, New Castle County, Delaware. The property includes the Greenbank Mill, Robert Philips House, and the W. G. Philips House. The mill was built in 1790 and expanded in 1812. It is a 2+1⁄2 story, frame structure with a stone wing. The mill measures 50 feet (15 m) by 39 feet (12 m). The Robert Philips House was built in 1783, and is a 2+1⁄2 story, five bay, stone dwelling with a gable roof. The front facade features a long verandah. The W. G. Philips House, also known as the mill owner's house, dates to the mid-19th century. It consists of a two-story, three bay front section with a three-story, hipped roof rear section. Oliver Evans, a native of nearby Newport, installed his automatic mill machinery in the 1790 building.
Noxontown consists of the remaining buildings and structures associated with a country mill site and village located near Middletown, New Castle County, Delaware. They are a house, small frame mill, shed, and mill dam. The house was built by Thomas Noxon about 1740, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, four bay, brick dwelling with a two-story brick wing.
Headquarters is an unincorporated community located within the Amwell Valley of Delaware Township in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. The settlement is centered around the intersection of Zentek Road and County Route 604. It is about 3 miles (4.8 km) from Ringoes to the east and 1 mile (1.6 km) from Sergeantsville to the west. The Headquarters Historic District was listed on the state and national registers of historic places in 2011 and had its boundary increased in 2016.
The Martin Road Bridge is a former road bridge which carried Martin Road across the Shiawassee River in Caledonia Township near Corunna. It was one of the oldest metal through truss highway bridges in Michigan, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991. As of 2016, the bridge has been removed from its original site, and will be restored and reassembled at the Auburn Valley State Park in Yorklyn, Delaware.
Franklin Corners is an unincorporated community located along the Passaic River at the intersection of County Route 613 and U.S. Route 202 in Bernards Township of Somerset County, New Jersey. In the 19th century, it had a grist mill, saw mill, general store, school, and several houses. The Franklin Corners Historic District, featuring Van Dorn's Mill, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.
