Gascue is a Sector in the city of Santo Domingo in the Distrito Nacional of the Dominican Republic, one of the oldest of the city.

This borough is populated in particular by individuals from the upper middle class; however, it was originally an upper class neighborhood.

It has the headquarters of the Junta de Aviación Civil and the Comisión Investigadora de Accidentes de Aviación . [1] [2]

The Comisión Investigadora de Accidentes de Aviación (CIAA) is the aviation accident investigation authority of the Dominican Republic. Its headquarters are located in Gazcue, Santo Domingo. Article 267 of the Law 491-06 de Civil Aviation of the Dominican Republic created the CIAA.

On 15 December 2021, a Gulfstream G-IVSP, crashed at Las Américas International Airport, Punta Caucedo, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, killing all nine people on board, including Puerto Rican music producer Flow La Movie.
