The second series of Geordie Shore , a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne, began airing on 31 January 2012 on MTV. [1] [2] The series concluded on 3 April 2012 after 8 episodes and 2 specials including a reunion show presented by Russell Kane and an episode counting down the best bits of the series. This was the first series to feature Rebecca Walker and Ricci Guarnaccio. [3] The series featured Sophie and Joel's rocky relationship coming to an end, Vicky being torn between her boyfriend Dan and new cast member Ricci, [4] Charlotte admitting she's finally had enough of seeing Gaz with other girls, [5] and the beginning of Holly and James. [6]

The cast return to the house again and Charlotte promises to stay away from Gaz for good, meanwhile Sophie and Vicky announce they have boyfriends outside of the house. The celebrations are soon interrupted as Rebecca and Ricci arrive in the house. Vicky and Rebecca immediately clash. Charlotte can't help herself and ends up with Gaz, then isn't surprised when he's with another girl the next night. Jay and Rebecca start to get close, Vicky feels guilty for cuddling with Ricci, and Holly tries her luck with James.

Vicky's still torn between Ricci and her boyfriend, Dan. Rebecca's jealous when Jay gets involved with his ex-girlfriend, Amanda. Charlotte admits she's had enough of being hurt by Gaz so packs her bags and leaves the house, and the girls don't take the news well. Holly's still on a mission to get James into bed but he's having none of it. Jay finds Rebecca on Gaz's bed and accuses them of getting together, the argument soon turns to a fight and Sophie's there to break it up.

Following arguments with Gaz and Holly, Vicky finally realises that she's hurting Dan by getting close to Ricci. Things get worse however when Dan arrives at the house and gets pally with Ricci. Holly's depressed when Rebecca sets James up with one of her friends and they end up spending the night together. Jay loses his temper with Rebecca when she refuses to have sex with him, and a drunk Ricci angers her by calling her unnecessary names. Sophie's not impressed when her boyfriend doesn't make an effort. [7]

Vicky attempts to end the relationship with Dan but is surprised when he fights for her, then returns to the house to tell Ricci that they're still together. Gaz brings Charlotte back to the house and even suggests starting a relationship. Charlotte gives into temptation again and ends up having sex with him 3 nights in a row. Holly finally gets what she wants and has sex with James, but is upset when he forces Rebecca to swap rooms with him the next day. Jay's not happy with Rebecca as she still refuses to have sex with him.

Sophie's boyfriend, Joel arrives to see her but makes more of an effort to be around the boys and flirt with other girls than be with Sophie. Finally giving up, Sophie ends the relationship with Joel. Vicky plans to finish Dan but is heartbroken when he doesn't turn up. Ricci treats Vicky on her birthday making Charlotte jealous of Gaz not being as nice. With a house party in full swing, Ricci gets too drunk and announces on the DJ's tannoy that he's Vicky's new boyfriend and then has run-ins with James and Lucy, then fights with Gaz. [8]

Anna throws Gaz and Ricci out of the house. After agreeing to meet up with Joel, Sophie takes him back and they give their relationship another go. However Vicky starts an argument with Joel over the way he's been treating Sophie recently. The girls go to see a psychic and Charlotte's upset to hear that it's true love between her and Gaz. On a girls trip to Leeds, Rebecca feels left out and cries to Holly. Vicky stands her ground however and feels that Rebecca isn't being herself and is trying to impress everyone by being fake. Gaz and Ricci return. Vicky tries to make Rebecca feel more involved in the group after finding out she spent the night crying. Returning home from Leeds to find flowers from Dan, Vicky admits she's had enough but then he ignores her when she spots him on a night out. When the boys go to the strippers, Vicky's not happy about the idea of Ricci going so he stays in the house. With the girls expecting the boys to bring the strippers back to the house, they sabotage the hot tub and their rooms. There's consequences though when they come back alone.

The group are brought back together as they all decide to call a truce. Ricci and Vicky rekindle their relationship leaving the boys confused. Charlotte and Gaz discuss their friendship and think they'll be married in the next 10 years. For the last night, they all have a party and James finally gives into Holly and they have sex again. Rebecca decides to resolve her differences with Vicky but she doesn't want to know. Sophie spots Joel flirting with a girl in front of her so finishes him again and tells him to go. Everyone says an emotional goodbye before returning home. [11]

Geordie Shore is a British reality television series that has been broadcast on MTV from 24 May 2011. Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, it was the British offshoot of the American show Jersey Shore. The first series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne, began airing on 24 May 2011 on MTV. The series concluded on 12 July 2011 after 6 episodes and 2 specials including a reunion show hosted by Russell Kane and an episode counting down the best bits of the series. From 23 August 2011 until 30 August 2011, 2 Magaluf specials aired on MTV, however these episodes are featured on the series 2 DVD. The series included the turbulent relationship of Holly with Dan coming to an end, the beginning of Gaz and Charlotte's ongoing love/hate relationship, and Jay and Vicky's rocky relationship. This was the only series to feature Greg Lake.

This series is also known as Chaos in Cancun as it is the only series to be filmed in Cancún, Mexico, and it is the last series to feature Jay Gardner until his return in series 6 and Rebecca Walker. This series featured Vicky and Ricci's relationship on the rocks before they finally got engaged, Holly and James growing closer when James breaks his leg, and more bickering and flirting between Gaz and Charlotte.

The fourth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne, began airing on 6 November 2012 on MTV. The series concluded on 18 December 2012 with a double bill after 8 episodes, the series ended on a double bill to avoid the final episode airing on Christmas Day. This was the first series to feature Daniel Thomas-Tuck and Scott Timlin and is the highest rated series to date with 4 episodes receiving over 1,000,000 viewers. The series includes Vicky and Ricci's ongoing arguments continue to the point of the engagement being temporarily called off, James leaving Holly distraught by the announcement of him having a girlfriend, and a huge bust-up between Vicky and Sophie which has the whole house divided.

The fifth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne, began airing on 19 February 2013 on MTV. The series concluded on 16 April 2013 after 8 episodes and a special episode counting down the best bits from the series. This series was filmed in Newcastle upon Tyne with the cast visiting various locations around Europe, including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Prague and Tignes. This was the final series to feature cast members Daniel Thomas-Tuck, and Ricci Guarnaccio, who departed the series following the breakdown of his relationship with Vicky Pattison. The series focused heavily on Charlotte finally being honest with Gaz about her feelings towards him, a rift growing between Holly and James following instructions from girlfriend Kate, and the end of Ricci and Vicky's turbulent relationship.

Filming began for this series in April 2013 and concluded in May. This series was the first to be filmed in Australia. Former cast member Jay Gardner returned as a guest, who had originally appeared in the show from series one to three. This series focused heavily on Gaz and Scott being isolated from the group after putting getting with girls before the rest of the group, leading to a fight with James, Charlotte feeling homesick and considering leaving the series for her boyfriend Mitch, and a new blossoming romance between Vicky and Dan Conn.

<i>Geordie Shore</i> series 7 Season of television series

The seventh series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne, was announced on 5 July 2013 after cast members Holly Hagan and Vicky Pattison had been arrested for assault on a night out during filming. The series began on 17 September 2013, just three weeks after Series 6 had concluded, and finished airing on 22 October 2013 after six episodes. This series had a shorter run that usual due to filming being postponed after the night of the assault. It was reported that filming for the series began on 26 June 2013 as the cast members had all been absent from Twitter since then. This was the last series to feature Sophie Kasaei after she was axed from the series following a racial slur. It was also the first series to feature Sophie's cousin, Marnie Simpson and included the brief return of Jay Gardner, who had previously featured in series one to three, and again during the sixth series for two episodes. Following Vicky's arrest, she was absent from the final half of the series. This series included the cast members taking part in a number of activities on their bucket list, new cast member Marnie isolating herself after breaking up the friendship between Gaz and Scott, and Jay returning to fix the drift between the cast members.

The eighth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed in October 2013 after cast member Holly Hagan announced it on Twitter and is expected to air 22 July 2014. Filming began for this series on 25 March 2014. This series will be the first not to feature former cast member Sophie Kasaei after she was axed during the seventh series following a racial slur. All other cast members from the previous series return with the addition of new cast member Aaron Chalmers who had briefly appeared during series two of the show as a one-night stand of Holly's. In May 2014, Gaz announced that the series would begin in July. An exclusive first trailer for the series was released during an episode of Ex On The Beach on 3 June 2014. It was revealed on 10 June 2014 that another new cast member had joined, 21-year-old Kyle Christie.

Ricci James Guarnaccio, is an English reality television personality, television presenter and DJ. He is best known for Geordie Shore, Celebrity Big Brother, Ex on the Beach and Dinner Date. In 2016, he began filming Ultimate Worldie, an Australian television programme.

Ex on the Beach is a British reality television series that is broadcast on MTV. The series was first announced in February 2014, and premiered on 22 April 2014. The series is narrated by Andrew Maxwell. The second series of Ex on the Beach, a British television programme, began airing on 27 January 2015 on MTV. The series concluded on 17 March 2015 after 8 episodes. Geordie Shore: Big Birthday Battle, a spin-off series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed on 6 February 2016 following cast member Scott's win on Celebrity Big Brother it was announced that he'd be filming for the next series of Geordie Shore the next day. However, on 12 February 2016 it was confirmed that the cast past and present would be reuniting for a mini-series to celebrate five years of the show. The series began airing on 10 May 2016. It features all of the current cast members and the return of former cast members Daniel Thomas-Tuck, James Tindale, Jay Gardner, Kyle Christie, Ricci Guarnaccio and Sophie Kasaei. The only past cast members that did not return for this series were Greg Lake, Rebecca Walker and Vicky Pattison. This series is classified as "Geordie Shore: Big Birthday Battle" and not billed as the thirteenth series. The series also features a new twist with Gaz and Charlotte going head-to-head as team captains planning the best nights out for their team. This series includes a special episode airing on the fifth birthday, on 24 May 2016 featuring the Geordie's reactions of previous episodes. The series also includes the show's 100th episode, airing on 31 May 2016. On 1 June 2016 it was announced that original cast member Charlotte Crosby had quit the show and that this would be her final series.

<i>Geordie Shore: The Reunion Series</i> Season of television series

The twenty-third series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed on 15 February 2022, when Paramount+ introduced their new lineup of unscripted series and renewals for MTV Entertainment Studios, including the show's new spin-off, although they were scheduled to start in late 2020 and 2021 but have been postponed several times due to UK COVID-19 restrictions. Filming locations include a trip to the Algarve in Portugal, Ibiza and Newcastle upon Tyne. The first trailer for the season was released in late August 2022 and premiered later that year on September 20. This was the final series to feature Marty McKenna after he was suspended from MTV. This series appears as "Geordie Shore: The Reunion Series" and not as a spin off of the show. This series brings together the cast members to celebrate Geordie Shore's 10th anniversary.

The twenty-fourth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed on 6 December 2023, and began airing on 9 January 2024. After last season the original cast reunited again in a mansion in Cyprus. Bethan Kershaw, Amelia Lily, Anthony Kennedy and Louis Shaw did not return to the show after the previous season.
