Geranium is a Danish gourmet restaurant in Parken in the center of Copenhagen. The head chef is Danish chef Rasmus Kofoed, who won the Bocuse d'Or in 2011. It was one of the first Danish three-starred restaurants according to the Michelin Guide . In 2022, it was named best restaurant in the world by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
Restaurant Geranium was opened in the spring of 2007 in Kongens Have in Copenhagen by Rasmus Kofoed and Søren Ledet. Although the restaurant received a Michelin star in 2008, it was forced to close in 2009. It reopened in Parken, Østerbro, in 2010. [1]
In March 2013, the restaurant received two Michelin stars. [2] The following month, it was named the world's 45th-best restaurant by William Reed's The World’s 50 Best Restaurants; it had previously been listed in the 49th position. [3] The restaurant kept the two Michelin stars for 2014. [4] On February 24, 2016, Geranium was the first Danish restaurant to receive three Michelin stars. The Norwegian Michelin restaurant Maaemo also received three stars, which made these two restaurants the first Nordic restaurants to have three Michelin stars. Parken Stadium, also known simply as Parken and as Telia Parken (2014–2020), is a football stadium in the Indre Østerbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark, built from 1990 to 1992. The stadium, which features a retractable roof, currently has a capacity of 38,190 for football games, and is the home of FC Copenhagen and the Denmark national football team. The capacity for concerts exceeds the capacity for matches – the stadium can hold as many as 50,000 people with an end-stage setup and 55,000 with a centre-stage setup.

Opened in 2003, the restaurant is known for its focus on foraging, invention and interpretation of New Nordic Cuisine. In 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2021 it was ranked as the Best Restaurant in the World by Restaurant magazine.
Rasmus Kofoed is a Danish chef and restaurateur who won the gold medal at the 2011 Bocuse d'Or, after previously taking the bronze medal in 2005 and the silver medal in 2007 in the same competition. He is the head chef and co-owner of Geranium, a 3-star Michelin restaurant in Copenhagen.
The Hotel d'Angleterre or Angleterre is one of the first deluxe hotels in the world. Situated in the heart of Copenhagen, Denmark, it is located on Kongens Nytorv opposite Charlottenborg, the Royal Theatre and Nyhavn. While its history dates back to 1755, it has been in its current building since a fire, in 1795, damaged the previous building beyond repair. From 1872 to 1875, the building was significantly extended and refurbished by the architects, Vilhelm Dahlerup and Georg E.W. Møller The hotel has long been considered the most prestigious and elegant hotel in the city. Its name is French and means the "England Hotel".
René Redzepi is a Danish chef and co-owner of the three-Michelin star restaurant Noma in the Christianshavn neighborhood of Copenhagen, Denmark. His restaurant was voted the best restaurant in the world by Restaurant magazine's World's Best Restaurants in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2021, and was awarded its third Michelin star in 2021. Redzepi is noted for his work on the reinvention and refinement of a new Nordic cuisine and food that is characterized by inventiveness and clean flavours.
Maaemo is a three-Michelin-star restaurant in Oslo, Norway. The name Maaemo derives from the Finnish language, meaning "Mother earth". The restaurant works in the New Nordic Cuisine genre, and focuses on local food and only uses organic, biodynamic, or wild produce. Head chef is Danish Esben Holmboe Bang.
Søllerød Kro is a one Michelin star restaurant in Søllerød, Rudersdal Municipality, in the northern suburbs of Copenhagen, Denmark. The restaurant building is an old inn from 1677 which faces the local village pond. It was listed in 1964.
Super16 is a Danish non-traditional film school based at the Nordisk Film Studio in Valby, Copenhagen. The name of the school refers to both the economical Super 16 mm film gauge, and to the number of participants in each class: 6 directors, 6 producers and 4 screenwriters. Each class program is for a 3-year period and produces 6 films annually. Although English-speaking applicants can apply, all instruction and communication is held in Danish.
Bi Skaarup was a Danish archeologist, author, food historian and lecturer. She was employed at Museum of Copenhagen from 1985 to 2006 as curator, and was responsible for parts of the excavations during the construction of Copenhagen Metro and wrote several articles about the subjects.
Klosteret is a nightclub located at Hauser Plads 32 in Copenhagen, Denmark. With an area of circa 2000 square meters, it is the largest night club in Denmark. Klosteret was opened as a night club in February 2015 by the members of the pop group Infernal, Lina Rafn and Paw Lagermann. Infernal owned more than half the place. In the beginning of 2016, the place switched owners and is now called SGK by Fabio Klosteret 2.0.

Nicolai Nørregaard is the head chef and co-owner of restaurant Kadeau in Copenhagen and Bornholm. He was born and raised on the island of Bornholm, a small Danish Island in the Baltic Sea. As a child he was highly influenced by his grandfather’s cooking, who cultivated and grew his own vegetables, caught much of his own seafood, and preserved ingredients so that he could remain self-sufficient during the winter months.
Henne Kirkeby Kro is an inn (kro) in the village of Henne Kirkeby in Varde Municipality, Denmark. It was established in 1790 and since 2007 has been owned by Flemming Skouboe. The restaurant is managed by former chef Garrey Dawson and under chef Paul Cunningham was awarded a Michelin star in 2016 and a second in 2017.
Kalaha is a Danish band consisting of Emil de Waal (drums), Niclas Knudsen (guitar), Rumpistol aka Jens Berents Christiansen (synthesizer) and electronic producer Mikael Elkjær aka Spejderrobot... The band takes inspiration from Afrobeat, Anatolian rock, electronic rave music and jazz improvisation.
Vestegnen is a term for a part of the former Copenhagen County, located west of Copenhagen. The area is defined as consisting of the municipalities of Rødovre, Hvidovre, Glostrup, Brøndby, Albertslund, Køge, Vallensbæk, Ishøj and Høje-Taastrup and covers the area around some of the stations of the S-train, which are on the lines towards Høje Taastrup and Køge, and which are within the former Copenhagen County. The urban area of Hundige is often included due to its proximity to the rest of “Vestegnen” and the former terminus on the Køge Bugt-banen, but Hundige is located in Greve Municipality and thus neither in the former Copenhagen County nor the current Capital Region of Denmark.
