Beck David Hansen, known mononymously as Beck, is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He rose to fame in the early 1990s with his experimental and lo-fi style, and became known for creating musical collages of wide-ranging genres. He has musically encompassed folk, funk, soul, hip hop, electronic, alternative rock, country, and psychedelia. He has released 14 studio albums, as well as several non-album singles and a book of sheet music.
Guero is the ninth studio album by American musician Beck, released on March 29, 2005, by Interscope Records. It was produced with John King and Mike Simpson of the Dust Brothers, who had worked with Beck on his 1996 album Odelay, as well as Tony Hoffer.
"Mad World" is a 1982 song by British band Tears for Fears. Written by Roland Orzabal and sung by bassist Curt Smith, it was the band's third single release and first chart hit, reaching number three on the UK Singles Chart in November 1982. Both "Mad World" and its B-side, "Ideas as Opiates", appeared on the band's debut LP The Hurting (1983). This single was also the band's first international success, reaching the Top 40 in several countries in 1982–83.
"E-Pro" is the opening track on Beck's 2005 album Guero. It was released as the lead single from the album in March 2005. The song was Beck's second number 1 on the Modern Rock chart and his first in eleven years. Beck used the rhythm track of the Beastie Boys' "So What'cha Want" as a sample in "E-Pro". Both of those songs are featured in the video game Rock Band 2.
Guerolito is the second remix album by Beck, released in 2005. It features all of the songs from regular edition of Guero in remixed forms by a variety of artists, with the addition of "Clap Hands", originally found on the special limited edition of Guero.
"Rain on Me" is a song by R&B singer Ashanti, released in August 2003 as a single from her second album Chapter II. It contains a sample of "The Look of Love" by Isaac Hayes that was used on Snoop Dogg's song "G'z Up Hoes Down", a track that was removed from his debut album Doggystyle for sample clearance issues.
The Information is the tenth studio album by American musician Beck, released on October 3, 2006 by Interscope Records. It was produced and mixed by Nigel Godrich, with whom Beck recorded Mutations (1998) and Sea Change (2002). Recording took place from 2003 to 2006, with Beck concurrently working on 2005's Guero with the Dust Brothers. The album received positive reviews from critics and made several publications' year-end lists.
"Boy Blue" is a pop song written by Cyndi Lauper, Stephen Broughton Lunt, and Jeff Bova for Lauper's second album, True Colors (1986). It was released as the album's fourth single in 1987. The single version is a remix. Charting at #71 on the Hot 100. Proceeds from the sale of the single were donated to AIDS organizations.
"Psycho" is the second single by post-grunge group Puddle of Mudd from their album Famous. It was officially released on October 2, 2007, but was available for digital download on iTunes on September 18, 2007.
"Long Road to Ruin" is the second single from the Foo Fighters' sixth studio album Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace. The music video was released on November 1, 2007, with the single released on December 3, 2007. The video features an appearance by actress Rashida Jones, and was directed by Jesse Peretz, who had previously collaborated with the band for "Big Me", "Learn to Fly", "The One", and "Low".
From First to Last is the third album by Post-Hardcore band From First to Last, released on May 6, 2008 through Suretone and Interscope Records. "Two as One" is the album's first single, which hit the radio on March 17. This is the first full-length album by the band without Sonny Moore (Skrillex) as lead vocalist; the band's guitarist, Matt Good, takes over from him. In contrast to the band's previous album Heroine, the album features a more accessible, alternative rock sound.
Animal Kingdom are a British alternative rock trio comprising Richard Sauberlich on vocals, guitar, and piano, Hamish Crombie on bass, and Geoff Lea on drums. The song was released in the UK and US for radio airplay in December 2009 and as a download single in the UK on April 25, 2010. Arulpragasam, Marcella Araica and Floyd Nathaniel "Danja" Hills, and produced by Danja. The song, Arulpragasam's first release following her departure from the UK's XL Recordings in 2011, was self-released worldwide under exclusive license to Interscope Records in the US on 31 January 2012. A shorter version of the song appeared on Vicki Leekx, a mixtape released for free online on 31 December 2010. "Bad Girls" was released as a digital download a day after its world premiere on radio and online.

"Saturnz Barz" is a song by British virtual band Gorillaz, featuring Jamaican dancehall artist Popcaan. The song was released on 23 March 2017. It was released as the lead single from their fifth studio album Humanz. The song marks the group's comeback since 2012's "DoYaThing", although 2017 had seen the non-single release of the song "Hallelujah Money" which features English singer Benjamin Clementine. "Saturnz Barz" was produced by frontman Damon Albarn, Remi Kabaka Jr. and producer The Twilite Tone, and marks the group's first collaboration with Popcaan.
"Tell Your Friends" is a song by Canadian singer the Weeknd, from his second studio album Beauty Behind the Madness (2015). The Weeknd co-wrote the song with Kanye West, Christopher Pope, Carlo Montagnese, Carl Marshall and Robert Holmes, and co-produced it with Pope, West, Omar Riad, Illangelo, Mike Dean and Noah Goldstein. The track samples the song "Can't Stop Loving You" by Soul Dog. A live remix of the song with American rapper Nas was performed at the 2016 Met Gala Ball.
