Glen Mulready (born November 21,1960) is an American politician who has served as the Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner since 2019. He was first elected in 2018. He previously served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives from the 68th district from 2010 to 2018.
Glen Mulready was first elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 2010. [1] In 2018,he retired to run for Insurance Commissioner.
Mulready defeated Donald Chasteen,a Tulsa insurance agent and firefighter,for the Republican nomination for Insurance Commissioner in the June 2018 primary. He faced Democratic candidate Kimberly Fobbs in the general election. [2] He would later go on to win the general election 2018. [3]
Mulready was re-elected as Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner in 2022 without opposition. [3]

The 2018 general election was held in the U.S. state of Oklahoma on November 6,2018. All of Oklahoma's executive officers were up for election as well as the state's five seats in the United States House of Representatives,half of the 48 seats in the Oklahoma Senate and all 101 seats in the Oklahoma House,and five offices in each of Oklahoma's 77 counties. Voter turnout was 42.5% of the eligible population,a 12.6% increase over the 2014 midterms but still the third lowest in the nation.
The 2018 United States House of Representatives elections in Oklahoma were held on November 6,2018,to elect the five U.S. representatives from the state of Oklahoma,one from each of the state's five congressional districts. Primary elections were held on June 26 and runoff elections were held two months later on August 28. The state's U.S. House delegation Republican majority changed from 5–0 to 4–1.
