James Howard Edmondson was an American politician from the U.S. state of Oklahoma. He served as the 16th governor of Oklahoma from 1959 to 1963,and the appointed United States Senator from Oklahoma from 1963 to 1964,losing to Fred R. Harris in a 1964 Democratic primary election for the U.S. Senate. When he took office as Governor of Oklahoma at the age of 33,Edmondson was,and still is,the youngest governor in the history of the state.
William Andrew Edmondson is an American lawyer and politician from the state of Oklahoma. A member of the Democratic Party,Edmondson served as the 16th Attorney General of Oklahoma from 1995 to 2011. Prior to his election as state attorney general,he served as district attorney for Muskogee County,Oklahoma,from 1983 to 1992. He was defeated twice in campaigns for U.S. Congress in Oklahoma's 2nd congressional district,where his father Ed Edmondson served from 1953 to 1973.

Henry formerly served as the Attorney General of Oklahoma from 1986 to 1991,before resigning early in his second term to become the dean of the Oklahoma City University School of Law,where he remained until 1994. President Bill Clinton appointed Henry as a United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit,a position he held until he resigned in 2010 to return to Oklahoma City University as president. He retired as President of Oklahoma City University in 2018,and has since worked as an attorney specializing in mediation,moot courts,and appellate advocacy.

Edward Hardy Summers was a justice of the Oklahoma Supreme Court from 1985 to 2003. Born in Muskogee,Oklahoma,he earned degrees in government and law at the University of Oklahoma. After graduation,he enlisted in the Judge Advocate General division of the U. S. Air Force. When he was discharged,he returned to Muskogee,where he served as Assistant County Attorney,before joining a private law firm,Fite,Robinson and Summers. In 1976,Governor David Boren appointed him District Judge for the 15th Judicial District. In 1985,Governor George Nigh appointed him to the Oklahoma Supreme Court. He served as chief justice from 1999 to 2000,and retired from the court in 2004. He died in Oklahoma City on September 12,2012.
John Kevin Stitt is an American businessman and politician serving as the 28th governor of Oklahoma since 2019. A member of the Republican Party,he was elected in 2018,defeating Democrat and former state Attorney General Drew Edmondson with 54.3% of the vote. Stitt was reelected to a second term in 2022,defeating Superintendent of Public Instruction Joy Hofmeister,a Republican turned Democrat,with 55.4% of the vote.
Thomas Horner Owen was a judge of the Oklahoma Supreme Court. Born and raised in Arkansas,he moved to Indian Territory in 1894. According to Victor Harlow's version of Owen's biography,Owen was born near Jasper,Arkansas on February 24,1873.
E. Summers Hardy (1933–2012) was an associate justice of the Oklahoma Supreme Court from 1917 to 1919. He should not be confused with the similarly named justice,Hardy T. Summers,who served on the Oklahoma Court from 1985 to 2003.
