Shorewood–Tower Hills–Harbert is a census-designated place (CDP) composed of several small unincorporated communities in Chikaming Township of Berrien County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,344 at the 2010 census. The median age is 60.5, but the township has a large youth population as well. The CDP is limited to Chikaming Township, although some of the communities extend into southern Lake Township. All of the communities are located either upon or just east of the dunes on the shore of Lake Michigan. Most of the communities lie west of Interstate 94, although the CDP includes a small area east of the freeway up to Sawyer. In the town, white females make a disproportionately low amount of income. The township is a popular resort destination.
The Mid-Atlantic Ridge (MAR) is a mid-ocean ridge, a divergent or constructive plate boundary located along the floor of the Atlantic Ocean, and part of the longest mountain range in the world. In the North Atlantic, it separates the North American from the Eurasian Plate and the African Plate, north and south of the Azores Triple Junction respectively. In the South Atlantic, it separates the African and South American plates. The ridge extends from a junction with the Gakkel Ridge northeast of Greenland southward to the Bouvet Triple Junction in the South Atlantic. Although the Mid-Atlantic Ridge is mostly an underwater feature, portions of it have enough elevation to extend above sea level, for example in Iceland. The ridge has an average spreading rate of about 2.5 centimetres (1 in) per year.
The Pawcatuck River is a river in the US states of Rhode Island and Connecticut flowing approximately 34 miles (55 km). There are eight dams along the river's length. USS Pawcatuck was named after the river.
Palmer Land is the portion of the Antarctic Peninsula, Antarctica that lies south of a line joining Cape Jeremy and Cape Agassiz. This application of Palmer Land is consistent with the 1964 agreement between US-ACAN and UK-APC, in which the name Antarctic Peninsula was approved for the major peninsula of Antarctica, and the names Graham Land and Palmer Land for the northern and southern portions, respectively. The line dividing them is roughly 69 degrees south.

Fort Christian is a Dano-Norwegian-built fort in Charlotte Amalie, Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Built 1672-1680, early in the first successful colonial establishment on the island, the fort served as a critical point of defense and government during the entire period of Dano-Norwegian, and later Danish, administration, which ended in 1917 with the sale of the islands to the United States. It currently holds the St. Thomas Museum, which holds artifacts and art of the Dano-Norwegian period. It was designated a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 1977.

The island is home to the Naval War College (NWC), an education and research institution of the United States Navy that specializes in developing ideas for naval warfare and passing them along to officers of the Navy.

Koynare Rocks are a small group of rocks in Hero Bay off the north coast Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica situated 7.5 km (4.66 mi) northeast of Siddins Point, 5.3 km (3.29 mi) northwest of Bezmer Point, and 1.4 km (0.87 mi) south of Miladinovi Islets. The area was visited by early 19th century sealers.
Bottom Lounge is a concert hall at 1375 W. Lake St. in Chicago, Illinois. Originally located in Chicago's Lake View neighborhood at 3206 N. Wilton, Bottom Lounge was acquired by the CTA in eminent domain in 2001 and seized for demolition in 2005 to make way for the Brown Line extension project. Hindered by lawsuits regarding the relocation and payment for Bottom Lounge under Uniform Relocation Act, Bottom Lounge re-opened at its current West Loop location in 2008. Live Nation began booking the venue in 2012.

Elihu Island is a private island off the coast of Stonington, Connecticut. It is located in Wequetequock Cove, just southwest of Goat Island and northeast of the western tip of Sandy Point Island. It has been variously known as Ledward or Ledward's Island, Elihu's or Elihue's Island, Elihu Chesebrough's Island, and Freeman's Island.
Canonchet is a small village in the town of Hopkinton in the U.S. state of Rhode Island. Canonchet is located due northeast of the center of Hopkinton and both Interstate 95 and Rhode Island Route 3 run through the village. Intertstate 95's Exit 2 is located in Canonchet. Canonchet is also the name of a Narragansett sachem in the area who was executed during King Philip's War.
New Shannock Switch is a small unincorporated village in Charlestown, Rhode Island, United States. It is located to the east of the village of Shannock in Richmond, Rhode Island and comprises the eastern part of the Shannock Historic District.
