1885The School was started by the Church of Scotland Mission.
1912The Australian Presbyterian Mission took charge of the school and maintained it as Elementary School.
1917Raised to the status of Middle School.
1931Permanent recognition obtained for Middle School.
1944Raised to the status of High School.
1946The school was Housed in the Building Of CMC. [1]
1947First batch of Student sent up for S.S.L.C Public Examination.
1950Management taken over by the Board of Higher Education, Church of South India, Madras Diocese.
1953The name of the school was changed to the Goodlet Higher Secondary School.
1961Permanent Recognition granted up to X standard.
1978Raised to the status of a Higher secondary School.
