Green High School (GHS) is a rural, public high school located in Franklin Furnace, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Green Local School District. The school mascot is the bobcat and the school colors are green and white. The school fight song is adopted originally from Northwestern University, titled "Go Northwestern Go". The superintendent of the school district is Jodi Armstrong.
The current Green High School campus was completed in 1972. [3] In 2018, voters in the school district passed a bond issue to construct a new campus for the schools. [4]
There are ten school districts and eleven high schools in Scioto County along with one parochial school as well several private and community schools. [5] The school's athletic affiliation is with the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) and the Southern Ohio Conference (SOC), which has seventeen member schools and is divided into two divisions (SOC I & SOC II) based on the schools' enrollment. Dublin Coffman High School is a public high school located in Dublin, Ohio, United States, a suburb northwest of Columbus, Ohio. The school was formerly known as Dublin High School. It is the oldest of three high schools in the Dublin City School District, and serves the southern and central parts of the district.

Southeast High School is a public high school located in the southeastern portion of Portage County in Palmyra Township near Ravenna, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Southeast Local School District and was established in 1950 with the consolidation of five rural high schools. The current building opened in 1954 with additions built in the 1960s, 1980s, and 2000s. The district covers nearly 100 square miles (260 km2) including the entire townships of Edinburg and Palmyra, as well as most of Paris, Deerfield and Charlestown townships.

The Clay Local School District (CLSD) is located four miles (6.4 km) north of the Portsmouth, Ohio, city limits on U.S. Route 23 in Clay Township in Scioto County—which is 85 miles (137 km) south of Columbus, Ohio; 50 miles (80 km) west of Huntington, West Virginia; and 100 miles (160 km) east of Cincinnati, Ohio. Clay is a rural Ohio public school district serving 700 students in grades pre-K through 12 in Southern Ohio. With the creation of a high school (Clay Township High School) for the district in 1940, students for the first time were able to graduate from a Clay Local School District building.
The Southern Ohio Conference (S.O.C.) is an athletic conference in Ohio. The conference is also a member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association, the governing body of Ohio athletics. There are currently seventeen member schools in the conference. The S.O.C. includes teams from five different Ohio counties - Jackson County, Gallia County Lawrence County, Pike County, and Scioto County. The conference recognizes: baseball, boys' and girls' basketball, boys' and girls' cross country, football, boys' and girls' soccer, fast pitch softball, boys' and girls' swimming, boys' and girls' tennis, boys' and girls' track and field athletics, and girls' volleyball.
