Greup is a hamlet on a dike in the Dutch province of South Holland. The village lies in the municipality of Hoeksche Waard. [1]

Greup is not a statistical entity, [2] and considered part of Mijnsheerenland. It had place name signs, but they disappeared in 2019. In 1922, a church was built. [3]

The song is scheduled to represent the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy, after being selected by the Dutch public broadcaster AVROTROS. The song peaked at number two in the Netherlands. It is the first time since 2010 that a song sung entirely in Dutch represented the country at Eurovision.
