Grzegorz Leon Kotowicz (born 6 August 1973 in Czechowice-Dziedzice) is a Polish sprint canoer who competed from the early 1990s to the early 2000s (decade). In his career, Kotowicz garnered two Olympic medals, eight World Championship medals, and five European Championship medals.

Competing in three Summer Olympics, he won two bronze medals. Kotowicz won them in the K-2 1000 m in 1992 and in the K-4 1000 m in 2000.
Kotowicz won eight medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with three silvers (K-1 200 m: 1997, K-1 500 m: 1997, K-4 1000 m: 1994) and five bronzes (K-1 500 m: 1999, K-2 1000 m: 1995, 1997; K-4 500 m: 1995, K-4 1000 m: 1995).
Kotowicz won three silver medals at the 1997 European Championship (K-1 200 m, K-1 500 m, K-2 1000 m). At the 1999 edition, he won gold in the K-4 1000 m event with teammates Białkowski, Seroczyński and Witkowski. Kotowicz also won silver in the K-1 500 m event at those same championships.
On 8 January 2005 Grzegorz Kotowicz was appointed to the International Canoe Federation (ICF) Athletes Commission.[1]

Sergey Verlin is a Russian sprint canoeist who competed in the mid-to-late 1990s. He won a bronze medal in the K-4 1000 m event at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
Piotr Markiewicz is a Polish sprint canoeist who competed from the early 1990s to the early 2000s (decade). At the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, he won the bronze medal in the K-1 500 m event.
Manuela Mucke is a German canoe sprinter who competed from the mid-1990s to the mid-2000s (decade). Competing in two Summer Olympics, she won two gold medals in the K-4 500 m event, earning them in 1996 and 2000. For winning a golden medal during the Olympic Gammes 2000 she was decorated by the President of the Federal Republic of Germany Johannes Rau on Febr. 2. 2001 with the Silver Laurel Leaf.
Marek Krzysztof Witkowski is a Polish sprint canoeist who competed from 1994 to 2000. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won a bronze medal in the K-4 1000 m event at Sydney in 2000.
Izabela Dylewska-Światowiak is a Polish sprint canoer who competed from 1987 to 1997. Competing in three Summer Olympics, she won two bronze medals in the K-1 500 m event, earning them in 1988 and 1992.
Maciej Freimut is a Polish sprint canoeist who competed from the late 1980s to the late 1990s. Competing in three Summer Olympics, he won a silver in the K-2 500 m event at Barcelona in 1992.
