Gunvald Ludvigsen (born 15 February 1949 in Leirfjord) is a Norwegian politician for the Liberal Party.
He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Sogn og Fjordane in 2005.
Ludvigsen held various positions in Eid municipality council from 1991 to 1995 and 1999 to 2005, serving the last two years as mayor.

He played for SK Brann, after joining from local rivals Fyllingen Fotball after the latter club's relegation from the Norwegian Premier League in the 1993 season. In the 1990 season he won the first ever Kniksen award as a defender. He sent Brann to the cup final in 1999 with a goal in extra time in the semi-finals against Molde FK. Ludvigsen was injured but had to play since Brann had used all its substitutes. He earned one cap for Norway in 1990.
