Per Ove Width (born 27 March 1939 in Tønsberg) is a Norwegian politician for the Progress Party.

Tønsberg[²tœnsbær(ɡ)](listen) is a city and municipality in Vestfold county, southern Norway, located around 102 kilometres south-southwest of Oslo on the western coast of the Oslofjord near its mouth onto the Skagerrak. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Tønsberg. The municipality has a population of 41,239 and covers an area of 107 square kilometres.

The Progress Party is a political party in Norway. It is the country's third largest political party and a part of the centre-right government coalition. The current leader of the party is Siv Jensen, who is also serving as Norway's Minister of Finance.

He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Vestfold in 1997, and has been re-elected on two occasions. He had previously served in the position of deputy representative during the terms 1989–1993 and 1993–1997.

Width held various positions in Tjøme municipality council from 1983 to 1995, serving as deputy mayor in the periods 1987–1991, 1993–1995 and 2003–2007.
