Magnhild Meltveit Kleppa (born 12 November 1948 in Fister,Norway) is a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party.
Kleppa is educated as a teacher at Kristiansand Teacher Training College in 1970. She worked as a teacher from 1967 to 1992. She was a member of the Hjelmeland municipal council during the 1980s and a member of the Norwegian Parliament from 1993 until 2013. She then served as Governor of Rogaland County from 2013 to 2019. She was elected to the Parliament of Norway for the first time in 1993,and has been reelected four times,lastly in 2009. She did not seek reelection in the 2013 Norwegian parliamentary election. [2] Her political advisor is fellow Centre Party member Sigrid BrattabøHandegard.
She was the Minister of Social Affairs from 17 Oct 1997 until 17 March 2000. From 17 October 2005 until 21 September 2007,she was the parliamentary leader for the Centre Party. She was appointed Norwegian Minister of Local Government and Regional Development on 21 September 2007,a post she held until 20 October 2009 when she swapped departments and became Minister of Transport and Communications. She continued in that role until 18 June 2012. On 1 November 2013,she became the County Governor of Rogaland. She retired in 2019 after having originally stated she was retiring in November 2018. [3]
Åslaug Marie Haga is Norwegian diplomat,politician and international civil servant. She has been board chair for various organizations,including the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA) and the Peace Research Institute in Oslo (PRIO). Haga has published three books:two on Norwegian politics and one novel.
The red–green coalition was a centre-left coalition of parties in Norway,constituting the Labour Party (Ap),the Socialist Left Party (SV),and the Centre Party (Sp). Unlike many other Red-Green coalitions,the "green" here was the colour of a centrist eurosceptic Nordic agrarian party rather than an actual green political movement. It governed from 2005 until Labour Party leader Jens Stoltenberg resigned his cabinet on 16 October 2013 following the coalition's defeat in the 2013 elections.

Hill-Marta Solberg is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. During her career,she was a parliamentary representative for Nordland county from 1993-2009. She was the Minister of Health and Social Affairs for three years and then was the County Governor of Nordland county for nearly ten years. She retired on 15 November 2018.
Stoltenberg's Second Cabinet was the Government of Norway from 17 October 2005 to 16 October 2013. It was a coalition between the Labour Party,the Socialist Left Party and the Centre Party,known as the Red–Green Coalition. On 9 September 2013,the coalition was defeated in the 2013 election.

The ministry is responsible for policy and public operations related to children,youth and families as well as consumer rights. Major agencies subordinate to the ministry include the Consumer Council and the Directorate for Children,Youth and Family Affairs.

Hadia Tajik is a Pakistani-Norwegian jurist,journalist and politician from the Labour Party. She served as Minister of Labour and Social Inclusion from 2021 to 2022. She previously served as Minister of Culture from 2012 to 2013. She was 29 years of age at the time and became the youngest minister to serve in the Norwegian government. She is the first Cabinet member that is a Muslim. Tajik has served as a Member of Parliament representing Rogaland since 2017,and Oslo from 2009 to 2017. She was also the party's deputy leader from 2015 until 2022.

She served as the party leader between 2021 and 2024,having been deputy leader from 2015 to 2021. She served as Minister of Agriculture and Food from 2019 to 2021.
The Tunsberg Tunnel is a road tunnel in Voss Municipality in Vestland county,Norway. The 4,080-metre (13,390 ft) long tunnel was built from 2009 until 2011 to replace a stretch of Norwegian National Road 13 just west of Seim. That stretch of roadway was full of narrow,tight hairpin turns. The tunnel has no turns and has a maximum grade of 5.07%. It was officially opened on 20 December 2011 by Magnhild Meltveit Kleppa,the Minister of Transport and Communications at that time.
Rogaland is one of the 19 multi-member constituencies of the Storting,the national legislature of Norway. The constituency was established in 1921 following the introduction of proportional representation for elections to the Storting. It is conterminous with the county of Rogaland. The constituency currently elects 13 of the 169 members of the Storting using the open party-list proportional representation electoral system. At the 2021 parliamentary election it had 333,475 registered electors.
