Modulf Aukan

Modulf Aukan (born 24 February 1948 in Tustna) is a Norwegian politician for the Christian Democratic Party.

He served as a representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Møre og Romsdal during the terms 19931997, 19972001, 20012005 and 20052009. From 1997 to 2000, and during the entire third term, he met as a regular representative meanwhile Kjell Magne Bondevik was Prime Minister in the first and second cabinet Bondevik.

Aukan was a member of Tustna municipality council from 1971 to 1995, serving the last two years as deputy mayor. He was a member of Møre og Romsdal county council from 1987 to 1997 and 1999 to 2007.

Edøy is a former municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 1960. It was located in the southern and central parts of the present-day Smøla Municipality. The old municipality originally encompassed all the islands surrounding the Edøyfjorden. This included the islands of Smøla, Tustna, Stabblandet, and the many smaller islands between the larger ones. The island of Edøya lies between the two and that was the center of the old municipality. Over time, parts of Edøy were split off to form other municipalities. At the time it was dissolved, Edøy municipality was 149 square kilometres (58 sq mi). The Old Edøy Church and later the (new) Edøy Church were the main churches for the municipality.

Borgund is a former municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1837 until 1968 when it was merged into Ålesund Municipality. Borgund originally encompassed the large area north of the Storfjorden and south of the Grytafjorden, from the mainland areas of today's Skodje Municipality in the east to the islands of today's Giske Municipality and the ocean in the west. The city of Ålesund was located in the central part of Borgund, however, was not part of Borgund, and it was governed separately. At its dissolution in 1968, the 172.93-square-kilometre (66.77 sq mi) municipality included the islands of Sula, Humla, Tørla, and Ellingsøya, as well as parts of Oksenøya, Hessa, and Nørvøya, plus many minor islands throughout the area. The main church for the municipality was Borgund Church, located at Borgund. The administrative centre of the municipality was at Borgund, near the church, along the Nørvasundet strait.

Stemshaug is a former municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The 157-square-kilometre (61 sq mi) municipality existed from 1914 until its dissolution in 1965. The municipality included the eastern part of the island of Skardsøya and the mainland to the east and south of there surrounding the Dromnessundet and Torsetsundet straits and the Årvågsfjorden. The Tjeldbergodden area on the mainland was also part of Stemshaug. The village of Stemshaug was the administrative centre of the municipality.
