Halleck is an unincorporated community in Buchanan County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. [1]
A post office called Halleck was established in 1862, and remained in operation until 1902. [2] The community was named in honor of Henry Halleck, a U.S. Army officer. [3]
Wallace is an unincorporated community in southern Buchanan County, Missouri, United States. Wallace is located approximately twelve miles northwest of Platte City. Its post office has closed and mail now comes from nearby Dearborn.
