Handog ni Guy Live is the first live album of singer-actress Nora Aunor. It was released in 1991 in the Philippines, under WEA. [1] In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Universal Records re-issued Handog Ni Guy Live Album in 2011.

Contents

This album was recorded live from Aunor's first major concert at the Araneta Coliseum on May 18, 1991, a few days before her 38th birthday. [2] Her guests include Gary Valenciano, Mon Faustino, The Hotlegs, The Operas and many more.

Nora Cabaltera Villamayor professionally kown as Nora Aunor is a Filipina actress, recording artist, and film producer. Aunor has also appeared in several stage plays, television shows and concerts. She is known as the "Phenomenal Diva" and "Jukebox Queen of the 90s" for her first studio album Just Can't Help Feelin in 1997 with the hit carrier single "Bakit Pa?," which became a number one ballad in the Philippines and a top 40 hit during 1997–1999. The album also was certified by PARI and certified platinum. Its carrier single "Bakit Pa?" was also released by OctoArts Films and GMA Films as a Valentine's Day film offering directed by multi-awarded film Director Jose Javier Reyes. "2nd Floor" is a song by Filipino singer Nina from her 2002 debut album Heaven. It was released to radio in December 2002 by Warner Music Philippines as the album's first promo single in lieu of the album's release in the Philippines. The song was written by Arnie Mendaros, and produced by Neil Gregorio. As soon as Nina sent her demo to Warner and immediately got a contract with the label, production for her first album began. "2nd Floor" became one of the first OPM songs to feature Taglish lyrics and a pop-R&B arrangement. Nina's whistle register is very evident on the song.

Guy and Pip

Guy and Pip is an appellation or moniker used to call the very popular Philippine cinema "love team" of Nora Aunor and Tirso Cruz III whose work in film, television and recording made them the most popular Philippine show business love team of all time. The nickname "Guy" refers to Aunor while "Pip" refers to Cruz. The team started working together in the late 1960s until the 1980s.
