Hardcore 4 The Coldhearted is the double CD album by American hardcore punk and hip hop artist Danny Diablo. It was released on August 29, 2008, via Countdown Records. [1]

Contents

The record consists of a compilation album disc (also known as the Street C.D. Volume #3) and an official mixtape (originally released as El Diablo's Most Sinister) featuring Lord Ezec's project acts such as Crown Of Thornz, Skarhead, ShotBlockers, Icepick, with guest appearances by the likes of fellow bands and artists such as La Coka Nostra, Transplants, Madball, Hatebreed, SubZero among others. [2]

New York hardcore grew out of the hardcore scene established in Washington, D.C., by bands such as Bad Brains and Minor Threat. Dan Singer, known professionally as Danny Diablo and Lord Ezec, is an American hardcore punk and hip hop vocalist. He is a current member of underground hip hop acts The ShotBlockers, KAOS 13 and FTW, and a founding member of hardcore bands Crown of Thornz, Skarhead, and Icepick, which gained him success on the New York hardcore scene.

Jowell & Randy are a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo composed of Joel Muñoz Martínez and Randy Ortiz Acevedo. Crown of Thornz are a hardcore punk band, formed in New York City in 1994. By their 1998 disbandment, they were one of the most prominent groups in New York hardcore. They released only one EP, Train Yard Blues (1995); one studio album, Mentally Vexed (1996); and one split single with Aggressive Dogs (1998). Following their 2012 reunion, they have release the two track single Nothing But Tragedy.

Ieperfest is a Belgian hardcore music festival held in Ypres. The summer edition of the festival was first held in September 1992, then annually each August from 1994 to 2018. Since 2019, the summer edition has been held annually each July. In February 2008, a winter edition was introduced, which was held annually in either February or March, until 2015. The winter edition has since been held sporadically, namely in 2018 and 2022. In 2012, during its 20th anniversary, Ieperfest became the longest-running hardcore festival in the world.

Skarhead is an American hardcore punk band from New York City, founded and fronted by Lord Ezec a.k.a. Danny Diablo. The group is considered the originators of thugcore music, a subgenre of hardcore punk "full of relentless breakdowns and throwdown-ready posturing". They have toured with Gwar, Hatebreed, and Earth Crisis. They have been cited as an influence by Deez Nuts and Fucked Up.

Emmanuel Gazmey Santiago, known professionally as Anuel AA, is a Puerto Rican rapper and singer. His music often contains samples and interpolations of songs that were popular during his youth. He is seen as a controversial figure in the Latin music scene for his legal troubles and feuds with fellow Puerto Rican rappers Cosculluela, Ivy Queen, and Arcángel as well as American rapper 6ix9ine. Raised in Carolina, Puerto Rico, he started recording music at age fourteen and began posting it online four years later in 2014, before eventually signing to the Latin division of fellow American rapper Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group. His 2016 mixtape Real Hasta la Muerte was well-received, but his success was put on hold the same year by a 30-month prison sentence for illegal firearm possession in Puerto Rico. He recorded the entirety of his debut album while incarcerated, during which time his genre of music surged in popularity.

Emanuel Herrera Batista, known by his stage name El Alfa or El Alfa El Jefe, is a Dominican rapper known as the King of Dembow. Batista was born in Bajos de Haina, Santo Domingo. He is known for his initial afro hairstyle which led him to popularity in the early 2010s through songs like "Tarzan", "Coche Bomba" and "Muevete Jevi". He went on to form good relationships with many artists from Puerto Rico, such as Nicky Jam, Farruko, and Myke Towers amongst others. This resulted in one of the biggest collaborations in dembow history, led by El Alfa, when he released "Suave (Remix)" in December 2018 alongside Chencho Corleone, Bryant Myers, Miky Woodz, Jon Z and Noriel.
