Hebron Township is bordered by Oswayo Township and the borough of Oswayo to the north, Allegany Township to the east, Eulalia Township to the south and Clara Township to the west.

As of the census [4] of 2000, there were 622 people, 238 households, and 189 families residing in the township. The population density was 14.4 people per square mile (5.6/km2). There were 399 housing units at an average density of 9.2/sq mi (3.6/km2). The racial makeup of the township was 96.46% White, 0.16% African American, 0.32% Native American, 0.16% Asian, and 2.89% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.32% of the population.
There were 238 households, out of which 34.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 67.6% were married couples living together, 5.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 20.2% were non-families. 17.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.61 and the average family size was 2.93.
In the township the population was spread out, with 24.8% under the age of 18, 7.2% from 18 to 24, 24.4% from 25 to 44, 27.7% from 45 to 64, and 15.9% who were 65 years of age or older.
