The Hinton Historic District is a national historic district located at Hinton, Summers County, West Virginia. The original Hinton Historic District is bordered roughly by the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad line, James Street, 5th Avenue, and Roundhouse. The boundary increase extended the district to include Mill Street. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984 and revised in 2005.
Gerrardstown Historic District is a national historic district located at Gerrardstown, Berkeley County, West Virginia. It encompasses 92 contributing buildings, 4 contributing sites, and 2 contributing structures. Notable commercial buildings include the Gerrardstown Corner Store, Wiest Antiques Store, Richard McCormick Store, Charles Crim Store, and David S. Griffith General Store. Most houses are 2 1/2 stories and are representative of a number of popular architectural styles including Queen Anne, Federal, and Greek Revival. Religious properties include the Presbyterian Church (1893) and Cemetery and Southern Methodist Episcopal Church (1883). Also included is the Lutheran Cemetery with burials dating to 1818. Located within the district is the separately listed Hays-Gerrard House.
Maidstone Manor Farm, also known as William R. Leigh House, is a national historic district located near Hedgesville, Berkeley County, West Virginia. It encompasses a historic farm with three contributing buildings and one contributing site, the site of a slave cabin. The plantation house is a two-story, square brick dwelling with a slate covered pyramidal roof. It is three bays wide and two bays deep and features a one bay entrance portico supported by paired Doric order columns. Also on the property are a barn and brick smokehouse. It was the birthplace of noted artist William Robinson Leigh (1866-1955), father of William Colston Leigh, Sr. (1901-1992).
Tuscarora Creek Historic District is a national historic district located near Martinsburg and Nollville, Berkeley County, West Virginia. It encompasses 31 contributing buildings and three contributing sites, related to the early settlement and economic development along the Tuscarora Creek. Notable buildings in the district include: Patterson's Mill (1765) and the miller's house, "Elm Dale," the Silber-Walters House, Huxley Hall, site of Patterson's New Mill and miller's house, Hibbard Mill, Tuscarora School, Providence Cemetery, the Mong House, Tuscarora Church (1802), James Noll Shop, Rumsey Mill site, and the poor house or "Mansion House" (1788).

Notable buildings include the McIntosh Building, First Baptist Church, Randolph Building/Caldwell Building (1907), the Grace Episcopal Church ; Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ravenswood Community Center (1938), and McIntosh House.

The original district encompassed 59 contributing buildings; the boundary increase added 53 more contributing buildings. It includes the central business district of Huntington, and includes several of its municipal and governmental buildings. It contains the majority of the historic concentration of downtown commercial buildings. Notable buildings include the Huntington City Hall, Johnson Memorial Church (c.1886/1912/1935), Trinity Episcopal Church (1882), Davis Opera House, Love Hardware Building, Reuschleins Jewelry building (1923), the Newcomb Building, the Morrison Building (1919), Keith-Albee Theater (1928), West Virginia Building, and Gideon Building. Located in the district are the separately listed Carnegie Public Library, Cabell County Courthouse, U.S. Post Office and Court House, and Campbell-Hicks House.

Notable non-residential contributing properties include the Exposition Building (1924), Thompson United Methodist Church (1913-1915), Madison School (1916), firehouse (1930-1931), the Bridgeport Bridge (1893), the Aetnaville Bridge (1891), "The Marina," Wheeling Island Baseball Park, and "Belle Island Park." It includes the separately listed Wheeling Suspension Bridge, Harry C. and Jessie F. Franzheim House, and John McLure House.

West End Historic District is a national historic district located at Suffolk, Virginia. The district encompasses 201 contributing buildings and 93 contributing structures in a primarily residential section of the city of Suffolk. The district includes buildings dating from the last decade of the 19th century through the first four decades of the 20th century in a variety of popular architectural styles including Queen Anne and Folk Victorian. The residences were developed to support the growing upper-, middle-, and working-class populations. Notable buildings include the J. C. Causey, Jr. House, Oxford United Methodist Church (1922), and West End Baptist Church (1938).
